    Right my comment which might not have been clear that I see Ezra having a role in the films much more likely than Kannan. But obviously not MVS.

    I'm starting to think that Lor San Tekka may well be Kanan.
    He doesn't look dissimilar.
    He may well know Luke hence why he is potentially watching over Rey and has his old saber (lot's of if's in that sentence!).
    It will mirror Obi Wan in ANH - Old mentor, takes Jedi protege to desert planet, gives them the saber he has been looking after (that was her fathers), sacrifices himself to the Dark Lord.
    I also wonder why Kylo gets his saber out at the beginning. Seems below him to slay civilians. Kanan's last stand?
    It will tie in Rebels which I am sure Disney is keen on without taking over too much of the story.

    Or do I just have theory dementia as there is 15 days to go?

    So i'm assuming that means Ahsoka, Kanaan and Ezra all die or go to the darkside. That yoda quote along with the there are only two no more no less quote are pretty annoying the guy was fallible after all.

    I just don't see how they'd give you 40+ years of Kanan backstory by the time KR slashes him to bits.

    If Max Von Sydow is playing an Imperial Officer that was abandoned on Jakku, could he not be one of the ones we see in the OT, whose death isn't canon?
    Example - What about Veers, he was one of my favourites and I looked at wookieepedia to see his death was 10 ABY.
    Is the source for his death a canon novel or EU?
