    Im still confused about the legends thing. Any backstory given in the old EU is non canon correct? So anything being currently written is canon? Or is it "Disney picks and chooses". Anyway, looking forward to reading this when my cousin makes his monthly comic trip.

    Nothing in Legends is considered canon, however any stories currently written are considered canon. The folks at Disney do indeed pick and choose what they like out of the Legends stories to bring into canon however, just never the full stories.
