    Also, am I the only one who is curious as to how Luke physically got to the island? Surely he isn't still flying around in his old X-Wing, is he?? Doesn't seem all that practical. I know it's not that big of a deal, but my mind inevitably wonders about smaller details like that.

    I've also toyed around with the idea that once he arrived on the island, he destroyed his transport. He decided that he would not leave until someone proved worthy to find him, and pull him back into the fray. He's his own "sword in the stone".. haha. Seems a little.. selfish? ... but I don't know. Whatever the case, Luke seems to think that his agenda is more important to the galaxy than anything else, and I have no reason to doubt the Jedi master!

    I can't image Luke not having a ship of some kind, not necessarily an X-wing but a ship of some sort. Perhaps if Luke is the father of Rey then the ship we see in Rey's vision showing a ship flying away, leaving her on Jakku.

    A question. Was there ever any evidence that Mark filmmed any scenes outside the Island (besides Pinewood) for EP VIII ??

    I was in Dubrovnik, Croatia during filming and didn't see him. I saw his stuntman, but Rhye Copeman is also doing general stuntwork, so this is no confirmation that Mark was there. Someone else wrote that he witnessed that Mark was there and filmed the scene at the beach, but at least I cannot confirm it. ;)

    by the way, these were the stuntmen (including Rhye Copeman = Mark Hamill stuntman at Skellig Michael) in Dubrovnik, Croatia I spoke earlier about. I think I can post this pic now here. ;)

    WARNING - Slight Micro Rant...

    So quick question - when do people think the fight between Luke and the KoR will take place? Because I feel like people are assuming it'll be, like, right after Rey and Luke meet, which doesn't make sense to me. Kylo Ren is supposedly training with Snoke, so he couldn't - or rather shouldn't - be leading the Knights into any sort of battle. That being said, I'm aware that they don't necessarily film movies in the order we see, so the fight could be in the second or third act of the movie...anyways, that's really it for now...

    Slight Micro Rant Over...

    Despite that I watched some of the filming from a distance, I cannot tell you exactly when the confrontation takes place. You are right, they don't necessarily film in the right order. So maybe they filmed some stuff of Luke&Rey alone first + scenes when the KoR arrive which is later in the movie. I even cannot tell you if Luke leaves Ach-to at all. I'm also quite sure any pivotal scenes including main actors are only filmed at Pinewood/Longcross. ;)

    It'll be the near the end of Act 2 or in the last act. This isn't happening near the beginning of the film. I haven't seen anyone who knows what they're talking about suggesting it happens at the beginning.

    If the KoR v Luke fight happens near the end of the film then we are likely going to have to endure Rey and Luke playing tomb raider for the majority of VIII.
