I hope Rey has a blue light sabre so I can say...blue rey...and watch it on bluray..*dodges things being thrown at me*

 

Rey MUST have the double bladed yellow saber a la Bastila Shan.

 

I don't get this character at all. What the hell is she, really?

 

Well I see your point in a way. Her character is probably the most elusive of the new 3 anyway.

I just hope its something decent. I've got no time for characters been love plots, I would lover her to be a sith but I think that is unlikely. The so called rumor at the end I could see been one of the few things right but what the hell is she? We don't even have a definitive name. It's blooming weird.....

 

Main lead, hero I hope.

 

I think her character is becoming clear if we assume some of the recent MSW rumors are true (that can be dangerous). She appears to be an orphan (or at least she thinks she is) who is resourceful and force sensitive. She at first is reluctant but by the end realizes it is her destiny to become a Jedi.

 

The recent rumors from MSW don't invalidate they older rumors they add to. Rey might think she is an orphan (for her protection). Han might not have seen her since the attack on the Jedi.

Oh and just to toss out a wild one. Rey Palpatine!

 

Rey could be a bad girl. Who knows? Maybe in cahoots with Kylo if they are brother and sister that is.

That would be a big reveal. Sibling Solo kids turn out to have gone to the dark side. Rey pretending to be this innocent girl until the right time when Kylo executes his plan. Find Luke and kill him, only Han dies instead. Making Kylo and Rey rule the galaxy as brother and sister.

Making Finn the new Luke.

Just having fun speculating.

Disclaimer:I have no clue if they are related or Solo's. Honestl I hope Rey is a Solo or Skywalker and the new Luke.

 

Kidding aside and with nothing to go on. I just like the idea of Kylo being the Skywalker heir by blood through Leia but Luke's true successor being the grand daughter of Sheeve living in hiding. It gets really fun if there are peace talks and the Alliance and Empire are going bury the hatchet and Luke convices leia to back a Palpatine for the new Emperor (scaled down in power). Perhaps it is the peace talks are why some Rebs are building their own death star they don't want Peace.

 

That would be interesting and different

 

So Luke is changing sides I guess the rebels riding on the back of a death star would convince him to abandon his crusade.

 

This is more my wild speculation. Because it has been said by some that Rey's heritage is a surprise but also that she is not known by Han.

It could be that Han is playing dumb. Not wanting those around him to know that her identity.
It could be his daughter is missing thought dead.
Or she could be a stranger.

If she is not a Solo the most complicated thing I could think was Rey Palpatine.

I wouldn't say Luke is changing sides its that some of the rebels are as bad as the imps if they are building Death Stars. The heroes including Luke have to decide to go along with genocide that works in the rebels favor or continue on their current path of fighting against tyranny hoping to resurrect the republic.

Taking that scenario further would be something like the emergence of the long lost princess (Rey) who could take the throne and usher in peace and work a compromise with the Rebels. Its out there I know and probably not what we are getting. Its just the story that pops in my head when I think . . . . what if Rey is a Palpatine. (Also remembering that GL wrote the movie Willow which was sort of a "B" script to Star Wars. He uses a sacred princess there).

 

Im treating it as speculation to, nothing about what Luke has planned has been leaked......yet.

 

I dont think that they could bring a Palpatine child into the story. Theres no way he would have had time to procreate in between his master plan to conquer the galaxy and seduce the chosen one to the Dark Side. He aint got the time for none of that. I mean he would literally have had to impregnate someone like the day before he died.

Rey will be Han and Leias daughter and Kylo will be her brother.
