Maybe it's Luke who starts to turn and Daisy has to fight him? I'd like that more.

This could be the point of perhaps Daisy being a Jedi. In the movies, we've never seen a female Jedi fight another.

 

I don't think either of them turn nor do I want them to. IMO that's been done so lets skip it and do something new.

 

I'm betting that while on the island/planet, Luke will be training Daisy's character. I'm assuming the big beard he's growning is because he is captive at the beginning of the movie, but Han & Chewie/Daisy and John's characters rescue him pretty early on and they continue their training in a remote place Luke discovered between RotJ and Ep VII.

 

I like that idea.

That Skellig location must be important since it was only Mark and Daisy there and the fact they shot for 3 days.

 

I think Luke is training Daisy. I also think he's on this island but it's a self-imposed exile (or a secret location to train Jedi.) I do think Han, Daisy, and Chewie look for him but he isn't captured. Luke -- the most powerful Jedi alive -- being captured makes little sense to me. IF he was captured by a villain they have zero reason to keep him alive as his being alive poses a HUGE danger to the villain. Makes no sense IMO.

 

Yeah that makes more sense. I like that idea. Probably working on what Yoda and Obi-Wan were between Ep III and Star Wars.

 

I wonder if Daisy's character will follow the same similar structure as the first two trilogies. For example:

Episodes I & IV: the soon-to-be apprentice is introduced to "a larger world" by the mentor and is involved in their first battle against evil (Anakin in I, Luke in IV). The mentor ends up dying.

Episodes II & V: the apprentice is given a new mentor and fights a life-changing battle (Anakin in II, Luke in V).

Episodes III & VI: the apprentice, using the skills they have been taught, must now face the evil alone (Anakin in III, Luke in VI).

Will this be the same for Daisy? I sure hope so.

 

Except Anakin's fight in Ep III, he was the evil

Just getting ready to post this. But I agree with you that it looks busy. I don't know if I buy it.

 

The description I got (found) from the extras (real extras, not anonymous people) was that it was simple, not nearly as heavy as their costume (from one person), and down-to-earth.

Even the costumes from the TMZ photos seem less busy than these mock-ups.

 

I trust Jason. He wouldn't do that for nothing. If that's what he saw....he did his best to draw it.

IMO it doesn't seen that busy.

 

There's TMZ photos of the main character's outfits?

 

The (what I presume is the) indigenous people costumes that came out in early June.

 

Oh right. I was under the impression that I missed some new pictures.

I wonder if maybe the reason why Luke disappears is to draw attention away from Daisy, if what they is is correct about her being his apprentice?
