I hate to think she is the only Solo child, that would be a complete 180 from the EU. They would be throwing away an opportunity to rewrite a lot of the sibling relationships from the EU, and that we never got to see with Luke and Leia. Can't wait to buy the Han and Fawn Solo action figures, I hope that is not her name, they're more creative than that, makes me think of Deer, or Bambi.

I like the Keira name alot better. I'm glad they changed it.

In reference to the Open Casting Call:



The audition script for "Rachel" and "Thomas" was directly modified from Chapter 19 of the first Hunger Games book, where "Rachel" is Katniss and "Thomas" is Peeta.

Here's another thought. What if something happens to Luke and Daisy is the one to restore the Jedi order to its full, proper glory?

 

Yeah, there's a lot of things that could happen. right now pretty much everything is speculation and assumption (which could be completely wrong.) One such assumption is that Luke has been training at least one padawan. Maybe he's never trained anyone.

 

Maybe he's training her to take over from him in case something happens?

 

Well, when the D-Day announcement first broke I was under the (imagining) that Luke had started a New Jedi Order. But from everything I've heard and read -- the rumors that we've been passing along -- I have no idea anymore. I like the idea that he is training his niece in the Force, but I have no idea really what to believe anymore I've read so many differing rumors.

BTW-- I take this as concrete proof that Daisy is playing Leia's daughter:

I was just watching ROTJ and the scene on Endor where Han says "Not bad for a little fur ball, there's only one left" and the way Leia looks, there's definitely a striking resemblance with Daisy.

 

We all know the famous table read that had Daisy between Han and Leia, right? Ok...UNLESS JJ was trolling us...

...was proof enough for me. The picture of Daisy hanging out with Carrie's fam either before or after filming?...they obviously have scenes together. For some reason I don't think Leia will have a ton of scenes with multiple actors. Thus...making any scene that she does will mean something to that character...hmmmmmmmmmmmm

 

Speculation
Han & Leia never made it after ROTJ. They are still friends but never had children together.

Leia got married with... Some guy that died somehow. Han is still SOLO.

Ridley is Leia's youngest child. She also has 2 sons. Ridley is the adventureous one. She's Kira X soon to be Skywalker.

She will be Luke's first padawan when Yoda convince him that it is important to pass on what you have learn blablabla... And to trust the Force that Kira would know how to chose good vs evil...blabla

Why pick an actress who just happens to bear a striking resemblance to both Padme and Leia if Daisy wasn't going to be playing someone belonging to their bloodline?
