I'm surprised they let anyone involved in these movies have any social media accounts.

If they are signing all of these wavers to keep things secret, they're bound to slip up on social media.

I know she posted something about Carrie Fisher and her dog? Daughter? Which everyone inferred she was good friends with her which meant she was Leia's daughter.

She also deleted her Youtube video of the ALS challenge. Her Instagram account and Facebook account are still active.

It's not the first time she's quit twitter. She also quit a few days after the cast announcement and was back a few weeks later.

 

I thought they came out and said the hair was not really for star wars....i could be wrong but I seem to remember reading on sw 7 news that it was not for sw afterall

Daisy seems/comes off like a very energetic, fun and social person. it's a shame if she stays off twitter.

She probably did get sick of the million "please follow me" tweets and other annoying creepy things that are sent her way due to her new celebrity.

I wouldn't be surprised if she had received a "talking to" about the "best family" pic she posted from JJ/Kennedy/Lucasfilm. She probably figured its better to get off now before she gets in trouble.

 

I have a super secret inside source who I can't name because he/she would get fired and they are so on the inside it would change EVERYTHING and omg they know everything about Daisy (except her name, oddly) and THEY say she will be the secret love child of Jar Jar and Mon Mothma...

Yes, there was quite a long period before the denials started. However, JJ has been known to deny things that turned out to be true -- case in point BC playing John Harrison and NOT Kahn in ST:ID.

At the very least they muddied the water enough for doubt to seep in, which it has for me, even though I was a proponent of Mara Jade being in.

I actually would be okay with it simply because we all know her by that name. Certain names like Mara Jade and Jaina and Jaicen Solo are so ingrained at this point, changing them just for the sake of changing them doesn't seem to make sense. The characters can still be unique. For example the kids don't have to be twins.

 

Exactly. If Driver is indeed Jacen, obviously he and Daisy are not twins lol although they could make Pip Anderson Daisy's twin, I could see that.

 

I never gave it a thought of Pip being a twin of Daisy. That would be pretty cool, but I find it strange they casted him so late if he was. Either way he won't be a main character in this film, but....future films....it's possible.

Yeah....I'm kinda into that now. Older son Driver. Daisy and Pip younger twins by almost 10 years.

 

Was thinking about the rumours hinting that Daisy would be doing some voice work for a Star Wars project, and in Australia's Foxtel magazine for October, there's a two-page spread on Rebels where a box of info states "Star Wars Rebels follows the previously untold history up to where a young Princess Leia receives the plans for the Death Star, as seen at the start of A New Hope."

Could this be who Daisy might be voicing??

 

That is (the start of Episode IV) five years away from where Rebels starts.
