SPOILER Pitiful Little Band - The Rumor Alliance

Hello fellow Star Wars fans. I am creating this thread in the hopes of us joining forces and disclosing our theories about TFA as well as the new trilogy as a whole. Basically - brief outlines of characters and plot. (Save the little events for surprise in the theater.)

I fell to the Dork Side of the Spoilers when I scoured the internet, annoyed and curious about a stupid lightsaber design from the trailer. (Which later was commented on as "impractical" by the man who invented/designed the OT Lightsabers. It was the art department's decision.) My goal is to watch the film knowing the truth about any surprises like "I, am your father/brother/uncle/w/e" and allow my inner child to enjoy the spectacle of this space opera we all like. Reminder: I might be spoiling episodes VIII & IX.

!!! WARNING: This thread contains spoilers (factual and potential) and any speculation could be true!!!
Here's what I think: (Based on analysis of known facts and supporting data.)​

• Han Solo will die in TFA because Obi-Wan died in ANH. OR dies in VIII from wounds in TFA.
• Master Skywalker. 1st appears in flashback (via Robert Boulter) Then Obi-Wan-esque reveal in Act II vs Phasma OR (however unlikely) vs Ren in Act III. (Seriously, 2 weeks on Skellig Island & physical training to grab a lightsaber? What are we, rubber Jar-Jar mask-wearing, mouth breathing neanderthals?) Luke dies in Ep IX (a-la Yoda-esque "Pass on what you have learned"-death.)
• Daisy Ridley is Kira Rey Solo. Middle name Rey is an alias to hide her identity. She is a Solo, we all know this. (Reading scripts between Ford & Fisher, etc.) The main character of the trilogy and will have a path like Luke. (Except faces her brother who killed their father.) Luke IS the one who brings balance (Vader to good) but she's Yoda's: "There is another" = Leia -> Rey -> thwart's Darth Ruin's plan.
• John Boyega is (EDIT) Finn Leonis. Force sensitive Spec Ops Stormtrooper. (Black dot on his back is a nod to those units in comics.) Joins the good guys.
• Lupita Nyong'o is 2 characters. 1) Mo-cap alien "Rose" and 2) Luke's padawan. (Probably is secretly a Sith or becomes one which would give Finn an interesting love story conflict.)
• Oscar Issac is Poe Dameron. Rebel pilot who inherits the Millennium Falcon. Rey's love interest.
• Adam Driver is Kylo Ren Solo. He's trying to be a Sith. Mother was a Kiffar. (The yellow lines on final Vader-esque helmet gives this away.) Former student of Master Skywalker.
• Andy Serkis is Darth Mysteros (Joke). Alien Sith. Middle Boss. Highly unlikely he is the Uber baddie because Palpatine wasn't revealed till ESB. TFA main baddies are Phasma and Ren. I need help w/Serkis' character. I heard Plagueis was to be the baddie (Muuns do have 3 hearts, could've fooled Palpie) but Disney/JJ thought he wouldn't be scary enough & wanted something new/scarier. Idk..
• Gwendoline Christie is Captain Phasma (?). Inquisitor/chrome trooper who can "cloak".
• Max Von Sydow is Kanan Jarrus. OR Plagueis OR a clone of Diyas? (I'm betting that he is def a glitchy cyborg who was from the prequel era ((Look @ his age)) that becomes controlled by a Sith later and thus betrays the main characters. (I'm not buying that Boba Fett nonsense because it was mentioned in a different way earlier in the year by another site, it makes stuff complicated, ticks off Fett fans etc.)
• Domhnall Gleeson is Ben (?) Skywalker. Jedi Knight/Imperial Officer. Dies in a 'hero sacrifice death' in Ep IX killing Darth Ruin = Apex Sith/Ancient Resurrected Sith/Uber baddie who essence transfers his spirit into a clone body provided by Plagueis & Palpatine's toys, played by Michael Fassbender.)
• So this is how I see it: Luke is the Deus ex machina that helps little along the way and the mentor. Leia is the voice of the Republic. Han also mentors, brings kids together & gives them cause. Finn vs Sith love interest. Rey vs Ren. Ben vs Ruin. Oh, and One-armed Chewie vs Simon Pegg.
• The important thing to remember: R2 will be in the main events throughout the trilogy so he can tell his story of the Skywalker legacy to a Whill, many years down the road.

Ironically, the two characters I'm having trouble with are the ones we've seen the most leaked info of (Kylo Ren and MvS.) unless the cyborg holding Vader's helmet IS Kylo, then it's back to the drawing board for me..) I think Kylo would be a Solo only because it creates more tension between everyone. He started out a student of Luke, lost his way (Told via flashback) and ends up on the same path as Vader and then kills his father. = More interesting dialogue between Kylo and literally everyone else. (Dad Han, Mom Leia, Sister Rey, Uncle Luke, etc.) Kylo just sounds too similar to Korto (Vos). I'm not saying he's a descendant, I'm saying JJ&Co did want to pay tribute to Legacy characters and prob make Lucas happy since he had a boner for Quinlan Vos. (Also, If you want your mind blown like Alderaan & both Death Stars combined: enter rabbit hole here.)

5 weeks from now we'll all have a much clearer picture of the story. Let's stop arguing/taking sides and work on this together, what do you think of my theories? Take your comments, strike me down with them. ​

 

- Thanks & he probably isn't. I just felt it was strange that his last name is left out in the trading cards as well as Rey's, plus I wouldn't be surprised if Luke, Han/Leia and Lando got together after RotJ & planned to raise their kids to fight/subvert the Empire. Idk.

- Lol I just realized how upset people would be to see those relationships between those 3, you're probably right.

- I guess it would be revealed in dialogue or flashback about Han & Leia having a falling out & Han maybe hooking up w/a Kiffar he knew from his youth. Yeah it sounds unlikely but I'm thinking Ren is either a Solo OR a Kiffar now.

- Interesting isn't it? It made me question most of the rumors and yet believe them more. You're right about the Empire being able to know if Finn is Lando's son, JJ apparently made the Empire smarter and more dangerous from what I hear.

- Yeah that's what I've been thinking, realistically there will only be 2 "I am your" relative reveals in the trilogy.

1) Wasn't the concept art made for Arndt's script? I could be wrong.
2) Oh I'm sorry was I supposed to give you completely original/new/fresh spoilers to entertain you? How about joining in on sharing your theories instead of missing the point of this post? It's really simple: First you look at something that has a lot of factual evidence (Concept art/trading cards) then you make an educated guess/inference, using deductive/inductive logic. Here, I'll help you start. JJ said that the trading cards' #'s have meaning.

Oh look someone figured it out! - But I guess it's "just another repackaging of current rumors and speculation"... SMFH.

- I enjoyed your post/thread a lot and have a question seeing as how we both argue that Kylo Ren's mom is not Leia, except I'm just guessing and you have actual sources which makes me feel even better. The question is: Is it possible that Kylo Ren's mother is a Kiffar?
