    If Finn is related to Lando... he's his grandson.

    Seriously.... if there is an obligatory family connexion... it will be with Leonis... but, my feeling is that he is related to no one. And even that... his main purpose in TFA is to serve as a Decoy for Rey's reveal. His other purpose is to channel what Luke channeled in ANH (Part of everything he channeled as a character)... how some Jo, farmboy (in Boyega's case... a trooper).. can make the right decisions and a HUGE DIFFERENCE on the outcome of the big picture. I wouldn't be surprised if Finn DIES in the movie... saving Rey... if he survives... I see him becoming the Leia of the ST.

    In Leonis' first episode his role is indistinguishable in every practical sense from the other imperial recruit in it, he makes one other appearance after that is like five seconds, he has no connections or conversations with any other characters or situations.

    His page in the "rebels visual guide" is literally crammed into the back... he does have a book based around him, but not a lot happens in it and its short and small... as well I believe it references locations that were only talked about in later episodes of the first season.

    Leonis... crammed into rebels at the last second to create a backstory for Finn.

    If the MSW rumors are correct it does not look like Finn dies. He appears to get injured but Rey visits him in the sick bay before leaving to see Luke. Even if this rumor is false, I don't see him dying in this film

    Okay I updated/edited Finn's bio and removed any Lando relation lol. (They were talking blast at Jedi Coward Forums)

    Yep I've heard silver or grey. Indie Revolver said it wouldn't be yellow back when they uploaded the concept art of his mask.

    - Interesting, silver/grey definitely looks cooler. Remember that not all Kiffar's had yellow tattoos, Fett's daughter had black markings.

    - I know EU is dead, but that doesn't mean there isn't going to be references and things mixed with others. It's a win/win by giving a nod/respect to EU artists, keeping EU fan's relatively happy, and giving everyone something different.

    - I'm going to keep rolling with my "small EU reference" theory and say Ren has Psychometric abilities. Why else would the original concept design for his Vader-esque mask have yellow lines above the eyes. Also look at how those lines match the other silver mask that was leaked in my profile. I think he's mixing themes from everything he collects and puts them into his new armor design. A Kiffar who can see the past by touching objects, falls to the Dark Side and becomes consumed by what he sees/learns through ancient Sith artifacts is way more interesting than some spoiled rich kid who collects evil blast or whatever the other rumor was.

    I subscribe to the theory that related to Zare as well. I was just watching Jedi Alliance on YouTube and they briefly went over it. I wish i would have found this when the debate was raging. We really dont have much information to go on here.

    the facts: Zare Leonis is at the trooper academy, he is revealed to be a spy, hes secretly a rebel, and he was selected for officer school....and then all of the facts that you brought to the table. thank you BTW. i didnt know about the dot.

    speculation: im guessing he will be back in season 2. Just look at this picture! tell me they dont look alike, right!?
