    a post credit scene is fine. I don't know why people have a problem... its not in the body of the film..

    For the record, I hate Disney with a passion. What I meant with Marvel was their credits sequences was a marvel creation that I don't believe should be copied over. If it's done in a diff way, MAYBE it could work with SW. Apple is a culture and that's what drives its success. Do you mean "ROI?" Im not against anything, not finding anything, not trying to be elitist or anything.

    A post credits sequence IN STAR WARS is a terrible idea, it's bad enough we're (supposedly) getting a flashback sequence, plus spinoff films now, do we have to put every modern movie trope in the book into Star Wars and break its simple linear storytelling? Is nothing sacred?

    (Yes, I'm aware post credits sequences have been used in movies for a longtime, just like flashbacks, but the post credits sequences are a MARVEL staple, I love them in the MARVEL movies, they're a unique and looked forward to coup de gras of the MARVEL films, but the only reason they'd be put into Star Wars is because it's what's trending with Disney's other biggest success, the MCU, and because they just can't resist any idea that might bring them more money they'll just have to do it in Star Wars too, which at this point they're really just waving it in our faces how greedy and out of touch they are if they do this)

    Let Star Wars be the best STAR WARS it can be, not the best Star Wars and EVERYTHING ELSE that might be popular and successful at the moment too. We really, REALLY don't need that, let's hope they'll at least pretend to have even the mildest bit of artist integrity and leave this idea in throw this idea in the sarlacc pit where it belongs.

    I mean, a post credit scene challenges the integrity of Star Wars? Lol. Sacred? Lol.

    But again with Apple. It's only a culture insofar as it has taken good ideas and refined them and made them great/accessible.

    If Straw Man Wars were to *gasp* have an after credit scene that helped drive sales and solidify it's new SWCU, then good for it.

    WE would only benefit.

    I don't want no post credit scenes, no post credit teasers, no post credit Gary Fisher dog vines... Star Wars is religious as far as movies go. The Disney sale does not mean that decorum goes out the window, even if they are pumping out a film per year. The second these films become advertisements for the films that follow (hello, Marvel! I enjoyed that 2-hour trailer for your upcoming slate of films, I believe you titled it "Age of Ultron") is the second that Star Wars is dead.
