    Hello All!
    Long time Star Wars Fan! Happy to have found a forum with such like-minded individuals!! So far what I have read is really encouraging, people will really take your questions and comments seriously! I appreciate that, myself having very few people to talk to about Star Wars.

    Well, I have a couple of random questions/thoughts that have been floating about my brain that I would love to just send out into the Star Wars Fandom Universe.

    #1 - "That's No Moon"
    If indeed the Death Star was as large as a small moon, it should have it's own gravitational pull. Shouldn't the doomed planets that it circled have gravitational destruction that would prelude the final world-ending blast? Giant title waves or flooding etc. Without meaning to, wouldn't the Death Star be issuing a warning before reaching it's destinations? Anyone out there an expert in Death Star gravity? (I'm sure that someone out there has brought this up, I apologize if this is redundant)

    #2 - "I've never seen such devotion in a Droid Before"
    I have read that R2D2 seems to have "Force-Awarness", and has way too much knowledge of the world around him in his "rusty innards" than what a normal droid should have. Some people had even gone so far as to postulate that he might be the first full-droid-jedi (yes, I rolled my eyes too). We could chalk-up his knowledge and awareness to his Jedi owners, constantly giving him information on their plans...but R2D2 has always seemed to know right from wrong (Unlike C3PO who seemed content with his "lot in life" and whoever he was serving no matter if they were good or bad) R2D2 would never take orders from a "bad guy" - unless he was undercover. Now humor me for a second, because this could be far-reaching...but what if R2D2 was powered by a Kyber Crystal? That might explain a lot! Thoughts?

    Welcome to the cantina. Regards to your first question I doubt the GE cared for warning other planets of it's presence, it was about showing intimidation to any who rebelled with fatal consequences.

    No, it was a Sci-Fi flick that seemed like a Tremors ripoff....only with mechs. i think it was Canadian film. Just saw the trailer today and wondered where I was when this came out.

    Forgot about that movie. I remember thinking it was pretty good back in 1995. Screamers were mechanical killers that would scream when they detected you. I remember thinking it was creepy. I believe they could borrow underground in search of you in a post apocalyptic world.
