Oh, they found another planet orbiting a binary system? Cool.
Some planet types aren't out of the realm of possibility, such as one covered entirely in water, like Kamino and Mon Cala. Deserts are easy, especially since the formal definition of a desert is anywhere where it rains less than 250mm/10 inches in one Earth year (fun fact: Antarctica is a desert, so many planets naturally are (like Mars). Venus could be easily compared to Mustafar (though Mustafar actually is far more hospitable than our next door neighbor).
The real tricky ones are planets like Yavin 4*, Endor*, or Kashyyyk. And if they find an ecumenopolis, well, the planet itself won't be the big discovery there.

*Both of them are moons.
