It is certainly possible for tarkin to have had a kid in his late 50s or 60s, it would be far more likely for him to have a kid in the 20s or 30s. If you want a younger person, why not guess tarkins grandson?

 

I'm not sure about the Tarkin having a child thing... I feel like it would have received some form of mention in Tarkin if it were early enough for that. Aside from that, I like the idea of Tarkin being a complete sociopath with no grasp on emotions or attachment; I think him having a child would take away from that.

 

Well I really enjoy the show but I'm pretty sure he'll be rescued in the next episode and nothing will change "definitely"... But if something different happen I'll be quite surprised.

 

You are probably right, but I hope to see bigger and better things for season 2. If they are still stuck on lothal the whole season, I'd be disappointing.

One thing I didn't fully realize until I had to explain it to my daughter: it was a big sacrifice for Tarkin to destroy the communication tower (they mention that they cannot risk losing it earlier when they think the rebel's plan is to destroy it). That's what he meant by knowing what it takes to win a war.

 

If you watch TCW and read Tarkin, that scene really is another extension of his life, and what he did. I am really impressed with how smooth the comics are connecting and how other media is doing really well with that too! I think we're gonna see something awesome for the season finale! Also, for those who haven't liked Sabine's look, I believe on a concept art of her Dave Filoni says she goes full gear for the finale.

The first picture, the final sentence, regarding the "Adventure Gear"

 

^ I was under the impression that by the time they go to the Spire to try and save Luminara Unduli she's already in her "Adventure Gear"

There are added armor pieces to her gauntlets and additional ammo pouches, etc. Not too crazy a transition though, just a few extra pieces.

 

This was my favorite episode so far.It shows the audience just how evil the Empire is,and why this is considered "The Dark Times."

 

I for one think the dark times never really left, it was in every era.

 

The season has revealed his anger is strong. Kanan will have his work cut out to contain it.
