    Looking back to TFA. I think the only "big thing" to come from social media (forums/boards/reddit) was the snoke picture from neogaf and some toy packaging? All of which only came out early do to overzealous retailers. Mizzlewump was probably the only big outlier of course. I don't expect much to change for VIII. SWNN/MSW/SWU will get all the real info, whilst 4chan fan-fiction creators look for their 60 seconds of fame.

    In retrospect, occasionally you get a guy that saw or was told a tiny portion of filming named jimjamjim. I think King3000 knew some stuff too. But there were distortions along the way.

    But by default you should assume that people are full of s***, because 99% of the time, they are. That's why I scoff at people all the time. By doing so, I'm going to be correct 99% of the time I do that, and wrong 1% of the time unless I recognize who the tiny exceptions to Tales From The Ass™ club are along the way.

    If you find yourself reading the daily drivel from reddit/4chan/other and nodding your head thinking "that sounds cool/awful so it must be real" a lot, you're going to be wrong nearly constantly. That's just the way it is.
