Yo're right. I've completely forgot about the Phasma comic. Thank you for reminding me (and the rest of us) of it. For a second I was afraid that Rey may actually be a Skywalker. Thankfully, I won't know till mid December.

 

It jives a lot with many of my own theories.

 

lots of this didn't make sense to me. the whole idea that Kylo is hanging around on Ahch-to trying to chat up Rey while Luke is just a grumpy over-protective dad? weird garbage that takes away all the tension between Kylo and Rey. for crying out loud, they were trying to kill each other the last time they met!

 

That guy that posted on 4chan who claims he saw the movie seems legit. Certainly more 'legit' than other leaks, imo. At least what he says seems pretty plausible- nothing too outrageous or sounds like fan fiction. Some doesn't make sense. I thought 'DJ' is supposed to be a villain. What becomes of his fate? Does he turn on the Resistance when arrives on Crait? Anyhow, If any of what he says is true, I'm not sure what to make of the movie. I want some really new elements to be introduced into saga, and from what I can gather, the 'new' characters in this movie seem less memorable and iconic than what Star Wars usually gives us. Shouldn't pass judgement until I see the film.

He pilots a shuttle at the start of the film to the Supremacy, with Kylo and Phasma onboard.He leads the attack on D’Qar from The Finalizer at Snoke’s instructions....but is killed by Snoke as a result of his failure to stop the bulk of the Resistance escaping from their attack.

Wow "spoiler", how dare you I was so invested in his character. Hahaha

 

It's BS because Ren is gonna kill Hux. Nah, the General will survive. Phasma on the other hand...

 

What if Hux grabbed Kylo off star killer, left in the shuttle, and picked up Phasma in the TIE. They don’t have hyperspace engines, right?

Or he met her somewhere, she got on the shuttle, and then they all went to Snoke together, when the film opens.

Not that hard..

 

you see Hux and Phasma reunite on the capital ship, not on a shuttle. it's in the Phasma comic.

 

Some of the FO TIEs do have hyperdrives.

Also, someone forgot about the sea monster that lives on Ahch-To...

 

I don't understand why so many people are afraid of Rey being a Skywalker.

If she is a Skywalker, and it's explained in a good, believable way - who cares?
If she is a random girl, and it's explained in a good, believable way - who cares?
If she is someone else's daughter, and it's explained in a good, believable way - who cares?

Point: Who cares as long as the story is good...

 

The poster in 4chan is better than most, but some things do not make sense. In the beginning of the movie, is Kylo Ren at the Battle of D'Qar, or is he hanging around on Ahch-To with Luke and Rey?

 

I took it as Kylo Ren being at the Battle of D’Qar at the end of the first act and hanging around on Ahch-To in the second act.

But I agree, it is a pretty confusing read. Not sure why “leakers” don’t just drop the entire plot synopsis instead of resorting to a Q&A...

 

that's another thing that doesn't make much sense: how the hell did Kylo find out where Ahch-To is? that was the whole point of TFA! did they plant something on the Falcon while it was chilling on Starkiller?

why would Luke go about smashing houses and then storming off because Kylo and Rey are talking?

why would Kylo, who wanted to get to Ahch-To quite badly before meeting Rey, now only arrive to talk to her?

it's a garbage synopsis of someone's crap fan fic, simple as that.

 

They don't know anything they are just seeing what the rest of us are saying and are trying to interpret and make it sound like they know what they are talking about. Its a scene they believe that happens but they have no clue where it fits in the narrative. But they will just describe it anyway.

 

Maybe Kanjiklub did or the Guavian death gang did put some kind of beacon on it, or maybe Kylo himself since he was on the Falcon on a deleted scene. But there has to be a good explanation of how Kylo finds Luke and Rey.

 

The leaker guy doesn't really tell us anything new. He gave a plausible scenario based on what everyone knows. I don't expect this film to have any "I am your father" shocking moments, but there's going to be new stuff that changes the story.

then I guess he made it easier for me to read what could potentially* happen. I bet it will actually have a "shock" moment though. My theory is that the trailer moment of Leia on Crait in that wide shot is very important. She is watching her only child leave the planet, maybe after they agree to a truce, and she disavows her her her son but doesn't mean it deep down...she ends up reluctantly sending some of her troops to shoot down Ben knowing that he will shoot them down first...the shock moment will come when Snoke's ship comes into orbit at the end, destroying literally everything in sight as it comes in from hyperspace, similar to Vader in R1, and she communicates with Ben to fly away to not see her die.
