Rey Solo

I was speaking of The Force Awakens.

And the trailer isn't misleading. It's the spirit of the movie.

What was misleading in Rogue One's trailer ?

 

"The main jedi hero is revealed to be related to the bad guy with the red lightsaber in the second movie of the trilogy" You seriously think they will make EXACTLY the same twist that in the OT ?

Wow, no one saw that coming with the sequel trilogy.

 

It seems for some people, Star wars must always follow the same story. episode 10 to 12 will have the child of Rey Solowalker, not know his/her true identity until the second film, after which they redeem their Solowalker relative who has gone to the dark side. episode 13 to 15 will be the grandson/daughter of Rey, not know his/her true identity until the second film, after which they redeem their Solowalker relative who has gone to the dark side. so on and so on.

 

Not saying I disagree with your statement but is it possible the people in the background of Leia are in slow-motion?

 

It has FANTASTIC retro active viewing weight imo. Like Vader torturing his daughter. You had no idea in 1977, but when you rewatch it now it's just ffnn' creepy lol.

 

It wouldn't work retroactively because NO ONE mentions Rey and NO ONE is looking for her in TFA.
And if no one ever met or knew her, even if they're blood related, it'll mean very little.
Rey will have more of a bond with the family she thought she had before she was abandoned on Jakku.

 

I'm thinking the twist n this film is Luke, not Rey or Kylo.

I think it will be both. They're clearly alluding to the dynamic between Rey & Kylo, and each with their respective masters in the trailer.

Now just explain to me why no mentions her, no one recognises her and no one is searching for her and I will get on board.

This is what people need to understand:
I am not anti Rey Solo. That's the original story I wanted.
If it was a toss up between Rey Solo, Rey Skywalker, Rey Random or indeed ReyLo, then Rey Solo might just get my vote.

But after TFA I do not see how this is possible and no one here has provided a coherent argument for why it would work.

 

The main problem as said MasterS is not what we want but what is in the movie.

Will they explain why nobody cares about the girl ( except Finn ) during the whole episode VII ?

Luke and Vader didn't met before the end of ESB and Vader said to Luke he was his father at their first meeting, even him, the real bad guy acknoledged his son at their first meeting.

Rey could be a Solo, she could be whoever still but it would make TFA a fraud and you know that, it's not a twist, it's a story swindle.

 

If your serious with this, then i disagree, the design is just made to look cool and aesthetically pleasing. But if your making a joke, then i am laughing alongside you.

ATTENTION ALL DIE HARD REY SOLO FANS. When you read the analysis Master Shaitan gave on the poster, if you are thinking that their analysis is wrong and making things out of nothing. Then congratulations, you know the feeling that we have when you make forced analysis of star wars material that doesn't actually hold any evidence for Rey Solo whatsoever.
