Ok came up with a theory about Rey. I think she is Leias daughter. In the novel it states that Leia never told Han how Snoke was seducing Ben and he's not fully aware of this until they reunite at the Resistance base. Maybe once Ben turned to the dark side Han split from Leia but Leia was already pregnant with Rey. The only way to keep her safe was to tell nobody and to drop her off somewhere aka Jakku. This explains why Han didn't know who she was exactly but seemed to have some sort of connection and similarities. My guess is once Han and Leia reunited she told him about Rey. Also i believe Kylo pieced it together by the end of the movie hence why he does not kill her and wants her to join him on the dark side. Also i believe that there are little clues left throughout the movie like Han and her saying things at the same time, Kylo saying Han solo is gone its just us now and how Han was the father figure you never had. Also did anyone notice that in the flashback the ship leaving Rey looked really similar to the ship Leia is in when she lands at Mazs castle? Thoughts and comments?

not to be a downer but Rey was left on according to the visual dictionary Rey was left on Jakku 14 years ago and according to Pablo Hidalgos tweet the attack on the acadmey and Lukes subseuent disappearenne was much sooner that that more like 5 years, so why just not sure why Leia would leave her on Jakku at a time when supposedly everything was still good. Also those ships look nothinng alike.

I read an article on a website saying that Rey can't be Han and Leia's daughter because when she is being held captive, Leia says to Finn: "Han told me about the girl." Now, at this point all she knows about Rey is her name, she's Finn's friend and she is being held by the First Order. No one has told her "Her name's Rey, she's about 19, brown hair, very beautiful and by the way, she looks just like your mother at that age."

Then at the end when Leia actually sees her for the first time, she bypasses Chewie who has just lost his closest friend and heads straight for Rey and gives her a big, long and emotional hug.

Leia told Han to bring their son home but it is Rey who comes back.
