S4 Prediction & Speculation Thread

I do too. But not having it in the finale doesn't mean we don't/won't see it. It just means season four will not END with Scarif. There are several storytelling possibilities to make it still a possibility.

 

We now know from the heroine shorts discussed in the EW article, that Hera is alive for Endor.

Obi Wan's speech to Ezra about belonging and then a similar statement by Kanaan make me think they are both going to die, but in a way that makes the survival of the Rebellion possible.

 

Kallus/Thrawn rematch.

 

One thought about the will they Scarif or not?

Consider the fact that the Rebel Alliance has all hands on deck for the Battle of Scarif. They have a much smaller presence for the Battle of Yavin. It seems on Rebels, they're setting up the finale to take place at Lothal. That would make a ton of sense. The story starts there. It should end there.

What if in the penultimate few episodes, they set up for Lothal but Hera has to return to Yavin. The group is split up. Ezra and Kanan, and either Sabine or Zeb head to Lothal. Meanwhile, Hera, Chopper and (again) Sabine or Zeb go to Yavin and then Scarif. The deal though is that after this meeting, the fleet has to go to Lothal to help with the final mission there. Some of the fleet makes it to Lothal. Some is stopped by the Devastator. That way it keeps not ending on Scarif, keeps some of the mammoth Rebel fleet alive for the future, and leaves the possibility for some of these characters to survive and return post-ROTJ.

 

More of Hondo, he's great for missions.

 

I want to see the ending of SW:R go in the direction of knowingly accepting the fate of each crew. I kno its a Disney product so its gonna be hard to show so much violence. We get the end of Maul in a tasteful scene. I want to see each of them fall into certain fate. Like when Filoni said something in text like "you know how the chosen one is but if youve only seen rebels you think that Luke is." here are a few prediction/speculation i have in mind for the final season of Rebels:

Characters I want to see in Rebels:
Boba Fett - Finding rebels in so sort of episode
Han - with the film coming why not add him and Lando/Chewie in an episode
Vader - I would like to see him duel a Kanan/Ezra/Ahsoka? since he is searching for jedi and knows about them plus knows if he did kill ahsoka or not.
Ahsoka - Hope shes not that dog/wolf thing or becomes it.
Saw and Mon are confirmed
Jyn - tying it to R1 since the season is supposed to be close to R1 storyarc.
Yoda - I want Kanan to somehow meet him if he doesnt(which most likey know) make it past ANH. Ezra gets to meet Obi Wan so Kanan should meet Yoda

now the Rebels crew:
Hera - We get to see her make General in rebels. during the battle on lothal, which will be either the first 2 episodes or mid season. With the trailer, it sounds like she is telling a story about the crew. maybe that can be her telling it during the R1 story. and with her saying "May the force be with us" it feels like this is where the crew part ways. everytime you hear that everyone leaves or something ends. I Would like to see the season end in the R1 timeline.

Zeb - I can see him fight with the rebellion til the end. we wil see him and Kallus do damage during season 4 but i can see him go back home at the end. Zeb will be with Hera in the ghost during R1 or possibly him being the new crew with Kallus in the ghost. Zeb story has kinda lacked after season 2

Sabine - Looks like shes not gonna be the one leading her people. we will see that fight for the dark saber but nothing else but fillers for sabine and the mandalorians. She will be apart of the attack on lothal but i feel that will be towards the begining or middle of the season.

Ezra - This is where i want to see Ezra lean towards the lightside and want to become a Jedi. I want him to tell Kanan that Obi-Wan is alive. I also want his ending to be with him going with Senator Organa to Alderaan to help him "Get his jedi friend" that is where its where we all know what will happen but if your watching just rebels your thinking oh blast he going to get OB1. the attack on lothal will be Ezras high point since he is saving his planet and people.

Kanan - He should have the faith like Obi wan had. Disney should give him the right to meet Yoda and know everything is faith/hope on the force. Kanan should fight Vader during the whole R1 timeline to give Vader that aggressiveness like he had at the end or R1(to me it was too much cause thats all you get from him. felt like the novel LOTS to me. Like to see him and Ahsoka duel Vader again. Kanan is the strong point since he is the only Jedi we have in this storyarc.

Thats my speculations. I posted threads before the trailer about how it should end my opinion. Dave said the story comes full and complete for the crew so i hope its in a way that all stories of SW ends. similar to TCW series.

 

Luke being seen again.

 

Yeah same here, I want to see one of the last shots of the series being of Luke Skywalker chilling with his friends as he watches the tantive IV from the deleted scenes of ANH and obi-wan watching on and saying something like, "we finally have hope" or whatever.

 

Good idea, it would come close to the deleted scenes in ANH when Luke was seen siting down then he looked up & saw the Tantive IV passing overhead.

I'm guessing it ends before Scarif. Hera I believe has a promotion in Rogue One and that is most likely from the events of season 4.

Personally, I think Ezra, Kanaan, Sabine will die. Hera and Chopper obviously don't die and not sure about Zeb

Hera is already at the main rebel level

by the first episode of S4 but they wouldnt let every single main character die in the series because it's a kids show, but my bet is that Zeb sacrifices himself along with Chopper and Kanaan fights off Vader or someone to save Ezra similar with Qui-Gon and obi-wan.

 

As another famous character from another famous sci-fi series said: "There are always possibilities."

We all figured Ahsoka would have to die at the end of Clone Wars, didn't we? And she made it through. Who's to say something similar doesn't happen to Kanan and/or Ezra? I'm a believer one or two of the main cast will die. Probably Kanan and Sabine. But I bet the rest will make it through.

 

Return of the Lasats.

 

Kanan/Ahsoka will fight Vader. Ezra goes with Senator Organa. Hera get promoted the first episode and I feel that she is taking to somebody regarding the Rebels crew in the trailer. Sabine comes back to the rebels and dies saving her people again. Zeb fights scarif and hands off his role to Kallus and goes home. Chopper/Hera are alive in R1 so we know they last til then.

Season 4 will lead up as a "hope" season at the most. yeah being Disney they will play it smart. with Dave Filoni, we will see the fate of the crew similar to how he ended Maul. simple and quick. last season so i hope we see a Vader, Boba Fett, Ahsoka, Yoda, Princess Leia, Han/Chewie(siince the Solo film is coming out) Lando, Senator Organa, Jyn/Cassian(that be dope too)
