    so now the Noghri are canon :D will the series end as Timothy Zahn's Thrawn trilogy ended or will we perchance see the capture of the Noghri homeworld and Thrawn's acquistion of his bodyguard Ruk'h and leave his fate open ended for a future series?

    I think that shirt is absolutely one hundred percent confirmation that Ahsoka survived her fight with Darth Vader, I do think Vader allowed Ahsoka to walk away from that fight. She probably survived on Malachor. There was no fight, temple exploded right after Phantom flew away, that gives possibility to make a few fight moves more for Ahsoka and Vader, it`s literally a few seconds between. As Pablo said in his interview at Salt Lake something :( (really can`t remember exact name of event, reminded me Collider Jedi Council) "in Vader`s mind Ahsoka is gone". Pablo actually said he is not sure will it be revealed someday or not, so there was no explanation did he kill or did he not kill her. My personal opinion - she survived the explosion (why wouldn't she if Vader did) and somehow hidden her presence to Vader cough - thanks to Convoree - cough and entered the temple in her final scene. Cards show what happened next. Now about wolfs: those wolfs inhabit Lothal (paintings on the wall, scenes from trailer) and most probably are related to Force users like Jedi. I am sure that comes from Ahsoka riding a wolf on Mandalore right after Order 66 and because it is already explained by Mr Filoni now it can be shown as it was in a concept sketch/unreleased episode of Clone Wars. We all know how trailers are organized (especially mid-season) - nothing actually is clear. Wolf is just another probably "in the middle" character like Bendu or a spiritual one like Convoree and there is no reason to turn one of beloved characters into a pet!!! I believe she is still being trapped on Malachor like Maul was and tries to reach someone who can hear her through the Force. And that would be a great new story to tell...

    Last saturday I watched Princess Mononoke. It's a great film and I think season 4 will have some parallels.

    For example, it seems by the trailer that the Empire is mining Lothal (possibly for kyber, a mystical thing) and slowly destroying the planet. In PM, some people were trying to destroy the forest, which was inhabited by mystical beings. There was a resistance, led by San and the wolves.

    And what does appear in the season 4 trailer? Well, a giant wolf. And it seems this season's story will be the rebels trying to free Lothal once and for all. Ezra, Kanan and the other rebels will fight the Empire with the help of a wolf.

    Hondo wins the "character that surprisingly grew on me" -award, for sure.

    I like that he and the young force user have a certain understanding...which can easily be imagined to be part of a DeusExMachina gig for Ezra at some point later this season. ...Maybe.

    We'll see soon enough!

    A user on tumblr summarized Rebels' loses on Atolon. Our share media function doesn't work on tumblr for some time, so I had to share it like this. But seeing like this in black and white makes you wonder how they'll scrape up ships for Lothal and explains why Rebellion isn't eager to fight before Scarif.

    Ouch no wonder it took the Rebels years to rebuild also it shows Thrawns tactics in targeting the rebel heavy hitters & there crews rather then going after the single seat fighters who need the larger ships to operate effectively.

    While I like Thrawn well enough in Rebels, I didn't completely get it until I read Zahn's Thrawn novel. He is a magnificent character and if they kill him after two seasons of Rebels and a single book, I'll be seriously pissed. Due to the new timeline, the events of the previous trilogy cannot play out as they were invented - after Jakku, the galaxy had almost 30 years of piece and Thrawn couldn't almost defeat the New Republic. But, they better give Zahn the opportunity to shepherd the character's future so it fits the new canon. I suspect though that Dave is playing with us by introducing Rukh as he is want to do. He is an authentic Star Wars troll. :D

    Ouch indeed. I knew he won, but this is the best illustration of bloodbath.

    I would love for Hondo to find out Obiwan is alive, maybe because Ezra is overheard sharing O's fate to Kanan, and somehow Hondo helps keep O hidden. Obiwan seemed to enjoy and respect his opponents, Hondo mutually enjoyed the deeper relationship with Obi. So maybe some fun twists of almost being discovered, then Hondo with a back handed scheme saves O from exposure. Hondo would probably enjoy the friendship even more if it needed to be secret. BRING ON S4!!!

    Only Yoda Obi-Wan & Anakin had The ability to become voice ghosts Qui-Gon could speak to through the force but not appear. So No we are definitely not going to get any othe council members turn up the whole idea would completely contradict canon.
