    At first I thought 3p0 was in the same set as they interviewed Gleeson on, which appeared rather Imperi---err First Order-like. Which would have confirmed an early rumor that he was undercover or something. On another view it seems more like a Resistance commander center.

    Well, if it pops up in more... then we know what his -ism is! I just remember the OT gave Lucas so much rag regarding the 'faster more intense'. When you think about the first film, it actually moves pretty fast.

    We all had that impression. Weird. Oh well, the event wasn't a BUST, I guess that is what matters. Things are going to get really slow for the next 3 months before they pick up again.

    Seems to sorta confirm MSW's contention the original droids are with Leia, although technically we have not seen R2 and 3PO together. If Leia is at the heart of the New Republic, she'll need an interpreter and Han wouldn't want him around.

    There was this awesome soulful poem to Peter Mayhew in the middle, that I'm still kinda choked up about. It was a really nice piece. It didn't catch on fire on twitter too much and some strange segment seemed to be bail *because* Reddit posts didn't come true which is the weirdest example of the blind leading the blind if I've ever seen it, but yeah nice event.

    Bobbajo though for me, sealed the deal for me. I know we'd seen him before, but to just see it walk around and realize, "They so utterly get the craft of the original films."

    If this film is a kind of love poem to the original films, (particularly the first, I know its Jakku but the entire desert look is just absolutely an homage to the opening act of IV), it could totally work. The Ackbar and Nien Nunb masks looked fantastic.

    We could just have a winner here folks.

    Also I bet Carrie's next book is going to be so good, the smirk on her face right now is priceless.

    I'm gonna go watch Dr. Zhivago with my wife now because she's my soul mate and Omar Sharif is a legend.

    It was a very good day to be a Star Wars fan.

    I assumed it was new music... but it appears that it was just the same thing they do at the ending of each night of Star Wars Weekends.

    Yeah that stood out huge to me. Casts doubt on who she may be related to if anyone.

    Very Nazi SS with the trenchcoat over the the shoulders. Also that with a black had makes him the most likely guy at the podium from teaser 2.
