SPECULATION Should Episode VIII bring back the Roger Rogers?

    In the old EU there remained pockets of Separatist resistance to the Empire and it was even in the 2nd Battlefront game when you travel to Mustafar as the 501st Legion and even in the Empire at War: Forces of Corruption expansion you could conquer certain planets and build a droid factory to enhance the Zann Consortium, Rebellion or Empire. I think it might be cool to see the FO bring back the droid Army's to enhance their forces, i think it would be a nice throwback to the prequels as long as they dont make them as annoying as they were in it. What do you guys think? Would it be a bad idea to bring back the droid Army's or a cool idea?

    Yes, preferrably as on the side of the Resistance! It would be cool to see the very forces that once gave the Jedi so much trouble saving the day!

    It would be awesome to see FO Stormtroopers versus droids, having the Droideka's on your side makes life so much easier.

    I got the idea of potentially adding Battle Droids into Episode VIII from playing the Awakening of the Rebellion mod for EaW: FoC while playing as the New Republic against the remnant Empire (with Thrawn at the healm) and the Black Sun Syndicate and I am incorporating Battle Droids into the New Republic forces as well as adding some Republic Star Destroyers with their Mon Calamari designs lol

    Battle droids being on the side of the Resistance = improved marksmanship. I'm all for it. Plus, it'd be a nice nod to ANH, where droids are constantly marginalized.
    I would prefer them using the original voice and not the higher pitched one they had in ROTS/TCW.

    I really really disliked those droids in the PT. The served a purpose for sure but irritated the hell out of me.

    I voted no but Mr. Bones from Aftermath was my favourite character in that book. Bones, triple zero, IG88 and Beetee would make an amazing droid strike team.

    Random leftover ones that have been repurposed (e.g. Mr Bones) would be cool. But I doubt we'll see any full on droid armies.
    Although I wasn't expecting clones to be references in TFA, either, so who knows...

    Droid Army? By the moons of Mustafar, hell no.

    Droidekas? Oh yes... anything that makes two Jedi run or forces a young Gary Stu into a cockpit so they can get blasted into oblivion, is a worthy opponent. If Anakin doesn't bail them out, Darth Maul might still be ruling Naboo.:p

    The concept is cool but terribly executed in the prequels IMO. As long as they are realistic and not to overbearing and, as far as roger roger? Hell no....just....no.

    Prehaps the resistance could salvage a squadrons worth of them, resources and man power are slim, so reurposing old republic and alliance gear might be necessary
