Simultaneous arrival of Poe and Kylo at Jakku..official inquiry thread

Interesting idea.

In my theory, Poe is Vader's long lost memory of his own republic pilot carreer ( the best pilot of the galaxy ) which is interesting considering the lines we have.

Who talks first ? I talk first, you talk first ? It's a souvenir who wants to get out as long as the awakening just took place.

And we have the lines :

I had no idea we had the best pilot of the resistance aboard ( I didn't remember I was the best pilot of the galaxy ). It's an own mind probe as it will be for Rey later too.

Then Poe escaped and hit Jakku. This will lead to Rey remember she was the pilot ( see the faceless pilot in her home ) and escaping from light's ground zero and why Poe was supposed to die on his Jakku's landing.

All the remaining is the mystery box.

 

Poe came first, Kylo came second, easy.

 

I'm prepared to chalk it up as "necessary writing", I'd also believe that whatever imformation leia acquired to justify sending Poe to Jakku somehow made its way to the FO or directly to Kylo - spies, intercepted transmission, etc.

 

The force works in mysterious ways. And its main duty is to kick-start movie plots. Don't judge, it's doing its best.
