    Ordinarily I would consider this significant... but given how the metadata from TFA, general Star Wars lore, and the marketing campaign in the run up to TLJ seems to have little to do with the actual TLJ movie, I'll assume this is one more thing we can theorize about that eventually has absolutely nothing to do and/or no manifestation in future movies.

    Han says Snoke just wants to use Ben for his power then throw him away....I'm guessing this isn't the first time Snoke has used someone like this. Snoke may have a reputation for using and discarding people as he climbs to power.

    Making him Pagueis now that he's dead would be yet another slap. I thought he was going to turn out to be Pagueis too, but now it's difficult to care either way since this trilogy has really dropped the ball. Wasn't there some ultimate source of the darkside out in the unknown regions that was calling to Palpy in one of those new novels? Did they ever say what that was? I hope to gawd it wasn't supposed to be snoke, because if so, what a huge let down! Maybe we get that ultimate source of the darkside reveal in 9. Gawd knows this trilogy needs something to pick it up.
