SPECULATION Snoke is ancient Sith awoken when Luke trained Ben Solo

I wonder.... An interesting spin I thought of.

What if in canon, the story Palpatine told Anakin about Plagueis the wise was true, all except being killed by his apprentice. Palpatine had to have the forethought that one day Anakin would ask him about who trained him, once Anakin became a Sith. So, if Palpatine wanted to keep his master a secret, then he began constructing the legend so that when that day came and Anakin asked, Palpatine could just say.. well, remember that story I told you at the Oprah... The Palpatine and Plagueis wanted to keep his continued existence a secret, then there would have been no better way. The rule of two was never important to them. That is why Palpatine always had other force wielders around him. The trick was for Plagueis and Palpatine to let their apprentices believe that they were the sole disciple.

So, Snoke could be Plagueis after all.
