    My suspicion is that Han doesn't know about her, and that Luke's the one who did that "dumping," the way Obi-Wan dumped him on a similar desert planet. I'd guess Leia knows Luke hid her, but not where.

    I also subscribe to this theory because it's just easier storytelling (the "Who's the Mom" question if Luke is the father is going to be tremendously hard to execute well), and of course, it eliminates the possibility of hearing "MY BABY GIRL."

    and...that creates some inherent drama if Luke hid her away from Han "for the good of the galaxy" and didn't even consult him. I like that angle...

    I think it's really up in the air, considering the trailers were all given temp music or specially composed music. It's hard to tell if the material is classic Williams or new Williams, or just something the trailer composer(s) put together from old Williams compositions and their own takes.

    If that were to be true, maybe he has to gently explain to Leia right away why Rey and Finn are there.

    That would also explain a possible rumored awkward reunion, one not by estrangement.

    Noticed a faint white thing crossing the top tip of this tie fighter. Hard to see here, but is noticeable in the video. It waves like the lightning arch in a Tesla coil, or like ropes flopping in the wind used in filming not covered up. Do ties have power flowing between?
