The minute I saw that cave with a line of 100s of Reys I was like “oh boy here we go” (not a fan of the clone or immaculate conception theories) but when I waltched it in a different theatre there is a female voice that calls her name before she turns to the mirror. Did anyone else hear that? It was a female voice I never heard before and certainly wasn’t Daisy’s or Leia and what not

It's interesting to remark that she didn't ask: Show me who my parents are. She asked: Show me my parents. I think she wanted more than their identity, she wanted the reason why they didn't come back for her. What the cave vision basically tells her (two shadows becoming her) is "Yup, you had parents. But, you are alone now." They don't matter not just because of who they are (or not), they don't matter for her future. I don't think there is much more to it, except that maybe her suppressed memory surfaces in that moment, which is why Kylo can read it from her when they connect.

She always knew the truth - that she was left/sold - she just suppressed it to deal with it as a child. Kylo's interpretation might not be accurate (drunks who sold her), he might have done it for the maximum effect on her. Because his lineage matters to him, regardless of what he says about the past (That lighsaber belongs to me!), he believes that it matters to her as well.

The clone theory is interesting, but it doesn't gel with the themes of Sequel Trilogy so far. JJ said they have open field to take EPIX wherever they want, but I don't think he and Terrio will take that path. Just my two cents.

I definitely heard a female voice say "Rey," but it was so whispery I couldn't tell what/who it was.

I kind of assumed that it was the same, or one of the same, voices that called to her from the Force tree, repeating the Jedi mantra. (The only words I could make out from all of that were "There is no passion; there is peace" OR "There is passion, yet peace"--I only really heard the "passion" and "peace" parts.)

I really hope they keep her a nobody. But I wouldn't mind having clone thrown into the mix as well. If JJ plans to unite all three trilogies in IX, a clone could make for an excellent vehicle to tie them all back together.

Plus, if you ever read any of my Star Wars fan fiction, I love a clone who doesn't know they are a clone story line.

A lot of people assumed Vader was lying to Luke about being his dad after ESB. The simplest answer is usually the correct one.

The cave scene is actually,in my eyes, a visual interpretation of mathemathical probablities, of alternative outcomes. Of inprobability.

There are numerous ways the answer to Rey's parents could go and Rey's destinies and consequent outcomes could have gone..

There are numerous Rey's lives that could have happened all in different ways. Its a flux, a change,a chaos.

    Improbability.

Jet..the Force governs improbality ,the Random Essence,by making it manifest as a best solution by the will of the Force.

I see that Rey came to be by very improbable circumstances, jet those circumstances "crystalized" Rey at the end who she is, and where she is.

Force made her survive, and be , and get her to the point where she is.

She is the child of the will of the Force.

    The Tide.

The clicks of the fingers of Rey, they go in waves, as flow of a Tide.

Her parents, actually didn't had a role in her survival, the Force did, they brought her to life, after that the Force , the Tide, governed her destiny.
