    Looks legit to me. Could be a small shock squad trying to ambush our heroes at a ruins site. Maybe one of the flame troopers... the tank on his back is the fuel cell?

    It's a pretty good image from far away and using a camera phone. Why Stormtroopers think they can sneak up in a jungle wearing white? We'll never know.

I just think you looked at the pretty pictures and started making speculations without actually reading what they were about, then posted saying that you did when clearly you didn't... I don't know, maybe you did read it and just ignored the massive pile of evidence (from the eyewitnesses) in favor of your theory based on.... what again?

    And the only reason we are still talking about it is your inability to simply say, "yeah, missed that"

    image quality aside, i feel there are a couple elements of this leak that seem suspect: firstly, how in god's name did they manage to get that close to a set that was currently filming without getting found out? i mean, they're practically in the shot (i'm assuming the trooper is facing the camera, so without the blocking they should clearly see the film crew), next to expensive bits of gear (looks to be camlok or soca cabling for power runs, seen clearly stacked next to the camera man), and no one is around to catch them? i dunno, but that definitely seems fishy. as for the phone dying, wouldn't your phone prevent you from using the camera if it was very low on batteries? i've not used every phone in the world, but from my experience the camera doesn't work when i'm about to run out of power. it's also worth noting that to switch between photo mode and video mode is pretty quick in most phones these days: why take a photo when you're hearing voices and know that an action sequence is taking place? again, seems a bit fishy. also, speculation that this is an incendiary trooper seems to be without merit; what about those pictures says flame thrower? if anything he looks like he's looking down the scope of a blaster rifle. any black "tank" on his back are leaves in the foreground, as has been shown in close up shots posted by others. now i'm not trying to be a negative nancy, i'm just innocently poking holes...

    Ysalamiri would be an awesome addition and a great nod to the EU! .... and gamer fans!..... I always wondered why that wasn't used as a way for Palpatine to "mask" himself from Jedi..... that was NEVER explained (How nobody sensed him ever...pretty weird) I'm hoping we see them or a substitute at some point (emperor)

    I agree that the incendiary trooper bit is highly suspect, I think that was made by MSW looking at the pic, not the person who was there, and is based on the "black thing" on the back, which turns out to be a leaf in the foreground...

    No, its a leaf in the foreground, as has been mentioned multiple times in this thread

    I agree, it would be... that there, however, is a leaf in the foreground

    As for Palpatine... to be fair to the JEdi, it had been a while since a Sith was in their midst, and they were ill equipped to handle them. If you take the history that the Sith had been defeated and allowed to go off into parts unknown to rebuild, you have to take that the Jedi are naive at best, foolish almost certainly... to think they would go away quietly with their tails between their legs and be thankful they were allowed to survive is ridiculous...

    Never the less... there were several references in the PT to the dark side being used to mask what was going on, and we can but assume that Palpatine was doing all he could to cloud things

    SIGH..... OK! .......BUT.... Ysalamiri is a kick ass idea and I think they deserve some recognition.... they COULD be a really huge plot point if used properly! (i played jedi knight for like 5 years at least... and downloaded even the crappiest of crappiest of maps so..) I miss Ysalamiri :( I'm still hoping this has some "Hier" things in there

    it's kinda coming from you, man. from what i've read you called someone out on making up a scene to fit the images and it escalated from there. coming from someone that seems to agree that these shots are suspect you sure are quick to damn others' opinions on the subject...

    No, what I did was simply ask someone if they had bothered to actually read the thread, as their response seemed to be rather counter to the eyewitness testimony of the person who was actually there, leading me to suspect that they had not, in fact, read the thread....

    Which, I believe, is what I did in your case as well, as I referenced the fact that the dark mass had already been established (not by me, coincidentally) as a freakin leaf

    Thanks bro... its gets hard at times, and I know deep down this all comes from the fact that we are all just very excited about the developments from a movie we all love and care deeply about...
