RUMOR Teaser 2 Discussion Thread - Date Confirmed by Collider?

I have no idea what to expect and that's great.

 

i hope the 2nd trailer will be the follow up of the sequences we saw in the first one.
or
show us something inside the millenium falcon

 

I could see John Boyega's initial scene in the desert being expanded on, maybe he runs into some sand people..

 

nah i don't think so but who knows

 

Maybe he might head to a nearby sandcrawler to ask for directions from the jawas & suddenly rey arrives in her speederbike

 

this might not be what happens in the next trailer... but i really wanna see this movie!!!

i'm not so sure JJ's gonna show us all the originals just yet.

i don't have the imagination to write like kylo (above) and loads of you others.. but i do know a bit about making the audience want more (and no.. i don't remove clothing for a living ). the collective star wars world wants to see Luke skywalker on screen... what i'd do? i'd let the audience hear him during the next trailer. Mark hamill has been incredible over the years at adding his voice to different projects... i'd give him the main voice over for the next teaser/trailer.

i'd have the tone and feel of the trailer as though all is lost... (bad guy stuff on screen) this could be the end... (more bad guy stuff) but there's always hope (flashes of han/Leia/chewie etc)

prob way off lol, but it'll be interesting to see what they do.

 

Heres my version...

You hear kylo say "You thought it would end after Vader, think again"
We then see Luke looking scared by Kylo walking towards him while saying "The Dark Side rises"

Then we see clips of Han shooting at monsters, leia falling in a pitt, Luke killing all kinds of monsters.

We see Finn running in the desert, but we dont know why. Rey finds a blue lightsaber and after that we see sort flashes of her being in a duel with Kylo, kylo being a real danger.

After all that we see Rey standing on a (sort) mountain with her lightsaber, staring at a city on fire. It cuts black and we hear Rey say "We are this galaxys last hope"

 

I'm gonna take a stab at this..

The trailer opens with a shot of a hooded figure walking across some rocks, we hear some soft violins play as a small creature darts into a hole. The figure approaches the mouth of a cave and enters, igniting a green lightsaber. The glow reveals the face of Luke Skywalker, suddenly we see a frightening close up of a Rancor roaring. *cut to black*

*Cut to a shot of the galactic senate* a grey haired politician announces with passion:
"The Empire has returned!"
*Shot of incendiary stormtroopers burning down a forest as villagers run for their lives*
"Our alliance is weakened!"
*An alliance frigate is critically damaged by a Death Star blast, we see Leia on board as it appear to drop*
"The Jedi MUST come to our aid!"

*We see a shot of Daisy raising her lightsaber, snow whirls around her*

*We hear the drums from the sand people soundtrack as two hovercraft fly parallel across the desert, smashing into each other as they head towards the Tatooine marketplace*

*Intense soundtrack from the teaser trailer plays as we see an expanded version of the X-Wing sequence, an X-Wing is blown up as Poe Dameron zooms past in his black and red spacecraft with a fierce look in his eyes*

*The music dies down as a lightsaber falls to the ground in slow motion*

*The original Star Wars theme comes in with full force, as the Falcon evades Tie Fighters over the desert*

*Chewbacca runs through a jungle, with explosions behind him*

We hear Han Solo's voice say: "Run Chewie!"

*The camera moves in close as an intense Luke Skywalker locks lightsabers with Kylo Ren*

*Cut to R2, moving along inside the Falcon, there is a fire on board and he tries extinguish the flames*

*We see a shot of Han and Chewie in the Falcon cockpit, with Finn, Rey and C3PO behind him, he presses the controls*

*The Falcon goes into hyperspace*

 

Good call quite a walk ahead for Finn which explains him sweating.

 

I definitely think it's a sand crawler, I think there's going to be a lot of subtle things like that throughout the film, judging by the work that's going into it.

 

You have fine eyesight I don't see how anyone missed that.

 

Am not sure it will be a trailer just because the sequences we will see will be so short. However, I know this sounds silly, after that last teaser the art work was extraordinary I recon the next lot will be just as good...

 

Please be genuine. That sounds Awesome! Especially the line from Plagueis: "Don't get too sentimental!"

It looks cobbled together from all the recent MSW reports and podcasts. "Yesterday I received two separate reports with similar descriptions of the second The Force Awakens teaser trailer." That's a red flag as well.

"Don't get too sentimental!" That was said on a recent MSW podcast. Han talking to Finn is also from a recent MSW report about encouraging him to take down a shield generator. The stuff about Lupita character's background is also from MSW. Castle been talked about by MSW lately. "Cloaked figure (maybe Luke?) standing at the top of stone steps on a high green hill with mountain stones behind him. This is definitely Skellig Michael." That is from MSW as well. At Skellig Michael, it's Rey arriving with the lightsaber and meeting Luke in their report, but notice how these trailer descriptions mislead you into thinking it's Finn. "Rose" is orange, not blue according to recent reports.

Damn right. Although I really like this rumour and am making myself believe it out of sheer desperation!

 

If this is true then it will be great to see all the different locations.

I have a good feeling about this.
