RUMOR Teaser 2 Discussion Thread - Date Confirmed by Collider?

After the new info we got about July 10th for an new trailer, I decided to create this poll thread..So cast your vote, talk amongst yourselfs, and the beard will be pleased

My vote sill goes to Avengers Age Of Ultron. It just seems so logical to put it up with an big movie like that..

 

Yeah, I'm going with Age of Ultron as well. That being said, the earlier the better

I'm going to say that Celebration will get at least a glimpse of TFA but i suppose Age of Ultron is the natural choice for the trailer to debut in its entirety.

Avengers without a doubt.

 

The attendees of Star Wars Celebration 2015 will riot if they don't get to see a trailer. Especially after investing so many republic/imperial credits in airfare, hotel, etc. So, unless Lucasfilm wants a riot on their hands...release the trailer on this weekend, they will.

 

I think the release of a full length trailer with Avengers will play into making Avengers 2 the highest grossing movie of all time.

 

I think Teaser 2 with Ultron as an "official" release. However with the International release of Ultron occurring before the USA, I'd bet on celebration getting an early look + the poster and they clamp down on leaked footage.

EDIT: In terms of Full trailer. Ant-Man makes the most sense as i think Marvel will be slightly worried it might not live up to the hype, and its at a pretty good date to release a full trailer before December.

 

I think a trailer will appear during the next avengers movie or the terminator genesis movie.

 

I thought last night was just about the WORST night for trailers and ads for a Superbowl ever! The only one I even remember was the PacMan Bud light ad.....

 

What's significant about July 10th?

 

Since it was a rumor, I decided to go with it. I dont know what is so significant about July 10th, but it is an rumor posted on twitter a couple of days ago. I cant remember on which Star Wars twitter account it was posted on. Although I think i saw it at the Internet/Twitter Buzz thread here to begin with.

I would say in May with the Avengers 2.
What I'am reading above me!? The Spin Off Trailer attached to Star Wars VII!?
They don't even casted all the actors yet and they are nowhere near at the principal photography.
This rumor sounds really far-fetched.
It would be a great surprise if this would happen, but I doubt it.

 

I just find it odd that if we are to get a second teaser I would think it would be before the first trailer, and if we are to get multiple full trailers, why are we waiting until 5 months before the movie is released? That seems odd.

Full, 2-minute trailer on Avengers.

They better have something for the fans that lay down there hard earned money for Celebration. That was bantha poodoo they barely even acknowledged TFA had begun filming at last years Celebration

Maybe another trailer in the fall as well, another 2 minute one

 

And honestly i think there are a fair few people who are going so they can hopefully catch a glimpse of TFA this year too. Would be a bit of a slap in the face.

 

I hate to say it, but it wouldn't surprise me if they dicked fans around one more time. I heard that JJ and his stupid mystery box are about to be overridden by Disney and a more straightforward marketing campaign. The trickery is really getting old, and on JJs last film, Star Trek Into Darkness, the mystery box crap really blew up in his face.

I really hope they just start treating this like the rest of the Star Wars films and start letting people who have waited years for these films get a little more of a glimpse.

 

antman makes the most sense. it is the right time for a full trailer and it could use the boost
