RUMOR Teaser 2 Discussion Thread - Date Confirmed by Collider?

So, does anyone have any info or insight on the extended teaser that is posted on youtube? To me, it looks like there is some new content that I haven't seen before. Granted, the audio track sounds fake, but some of the footage looks real. And, maybe I'm just not as familiar with some of the scenes as they may be fan-made or parts of games like I have seen in some of the first fan-made trailers, but I'm just curious what everyone else thinks. Or, maybe I'd just like to get some insight from you guys.

Again, some of it looks kinda fake, but there are certain things that were not shown in the original teaser. For example, BB-8 rolling under an X-wing, etc.

They took a bunch of video from other mediums whether it's video games or the OT and edited it to look like an extended trailer.

It's the same exact guy who created the teaser before it came out and said it was real. The one that fooled everyone.

 

I do agree that it looks fan made, but some of the footage really looks real.

I guess this(above) in general was what I was talking about. I don't remember this being a part of the teaser. But there were other things as well, like the red ball R2 rising from the ship, and then, there was a little more footage of the Millinium Falcon, granted not much. I'm not thinking that this is a new teaser as much as maybe there were parts of the released teaser that were cut and somehow they were leaked. I guess I'm just trying to analyze way too much.

the caption of this video says fan made so I'm assuming this person just grabbed a bunch of fan made stuff off youtube and edited it together with the trailer to make a convincing teaser. But this Romeo Lux guy has made fake teasers before (google him). He made one before the real one was released and everyone thought it was real until it was realized it wasn't.

This is why I posted. Not for ignorance, but because I wanted a different point of view. And yes, sometimes its nice searching for just a little more information. That's why we are all here!

Voted for SW Celebration, but I really only expect a second teaser featuring some of the old crew. Probably along with a poster and a bunch of promotional photographs.
A full on trailer revealing more of the plot I wouldn't expect before september/october.

C7 for sure....if it dropped with Ultron fjrst....dissapointment.

And its only disappointing to the people dumb enough to but tickets to C7 without having them confirmed Teaser 2. I would never go there only to see Teaser 2 if I was not 100% sure that they will show it.

Maybe to you but if it was all up to JJ and JJ only, then they would probably wait until June/August. Fortunately it is not only up to JJ so we might get to see Teaser 2 earlier than June/August..

 

My predictions:
April, Star Wars Celebration: 2nd Teaser (featuring OT cast)
July, Antman: First Full Trailer
Sep - Nov, additional trailers with minor changes, additional footage (a la Age of Ultron)

So this is predicated on the concept that trailers still draw movie goers to theaters. You have to give Celebration attendees some red meat or they'll riot. Age of Ultron is already going to be huge and doesn't need a star wars trailer to draw ticket sales. I suspect Antman is will be a weak movie by Marvel standards so attaching a full Star Wars trailer may help ticket sales.

This is pure speculation on my part though. I don't know the first thing about movie marketing

 

I hope they release another 88 secs trailer of the characters in action.

 

All that about a "C7 riot if they dont show Teaser 2" is bantha poodoo. The fans are totally in control of their own expectations and like I said before *its only disappointing to the people dumb enough to buy tickets to C7 without having them confirmed Teaser 2. I would never go there only to see Teaser 2 if I was not 100% sure that they will show it.*

So if people are disappoínted at C7 if they dont see Teaser 2, it is their own fault plain and simple. Besides, Teaser 2 is not the only Episode 7 material they can show at C7, they can also show the Teaser poster, movie stills and Making Off videos. They have tons of promotion materials besides trailers.

They dont attach a teaser/trailer to a movie to boost ticket sales, they attach it to a movie they know will be a hit so it will be seen by as many people as possible. Teaser 2 will be attached to Age Of Ultron for that simple reason.
