The Force Awakens Merchandise (Leaks)

Does anyone happen to know if any of the Black series figures are going to be restocked anytime soon? I have been all over and no one has had anything since 8AM on Force Friday....

I bought the same except the MF in place of Kylo's shuttle... I can't wait to build them, but since they're gifts, I'm going to have to wait until after X-Mas.

Tell that to my five year old.

 

I second this, as no-one replied. I see it's onsale but haven't been able to find it anywhere as of yet.

Okay Rogue5, I found this on Amazon reviews:

"Oh and the " information about the new Ships coming out in the next star wars films was nothing more then small blue prints with no information besides the name of the ship, nothing, very disappointing. Maybe this was meant more for kids, but it really didn't specify and i thought maybe a collector or someone who loves star wars at any age would like it, NOPE."

EDIT: Interesting to see how Kylos saber looks more functional in this concept then the final prop . I am of course talking about the much debated crossguard.

It's insane how empty that place is compared to when I was there on Disney Days. It was a 5-hour line to get in.

 

The amount of pointless cheap crap being made for this film may have surpassed PT insanity.

 

I received my order from The Disney Store today. I bought the diecast Poe X-Wing and Special Forces TIE.

They are really nice! And boy are they heavy. Almost every component is made of metal. Paint is good, wings and guns are straight and true, and they are well worth the $9.95 asking price. The X-Wing has movable wings, opening canopy, and plug-in landing gear so the model can be displayed in the landed configuration.

The wings on the TIE are metal, as is the fuselage. The wing attachment points are rock solid. No bent parts with this model. Come payday, I'll be buying a couple more from this series to add to the collection.

Here's some pics. I've included a shot of each Disney model next to a Hasbro Black Series Titanium version to give an idea of size. I like the scale. The Disney models aren't huge, but they are not too tiny either-

 

I'm going to be there next Tuesday. It is going to be SOOOO HARD not to spend my Kid's college fund!

The funny thing is that to get permission to make Star Wars references, Spaceballs was not allowed to sell any merchandise.

 

That's true of any parody though.

 

The guy who came up with the black x-wing concept totally just inverted (ctrl+i) the color layer of the white and blue concept in Photoshop and got the stamp of approval.

Worked fine.

 

Maybe it's because Poe is actually a traitor, and is involved in the assassination of Leia in episode 8.

It's funny because I did the same thing, and then thought to myself "orange is the complement of blue, and black is the inverse of white, I didn't need to use the invert function in Photoshop to see this."
