Can't seem to log in or register on Movie Anywhere App, I guess the site didn't anticipate zillions of Star Wars fans wanting this isolated soundtrack for free. it crashes on my phone and laptop:eek: anyone else experiencing this?

My problem with Harloff is that he goes back and forth on his opinions which is very annoying. I mean for someone who has watched millions of films and his first tweet about TLJ is: (paraphrasing )I don't know about this film I have to see it again, destroys any credibility for me that he is a serious film pundit. Once the backlash broke he finally took a stance. On the other hand, John Campea's first tweet outlined that he liked the film and had 2 major problems: didn't like DJ character and didn't like Finn and Rose's story thread which to me is fair for someone who reviews films, yet Harloff could not articulate his thoughts on his first viewing siting he has to see it again, Harloff's entire audience is waiting for his first reaction to TLJ which he is privileged to see first before the fans, and he can't give a decent comment but waits until all the backlash is real to fuel the controversy.
i don't dislike Harloff, I watch his show every week, but by god he is completely clueless and seems to be rather sketchy. It started with his praise of Rebel Dawn novel, where he got an early copy of the book and praised the book solely on the fact that he was able to read it before its release. Then the majority of fans and critics said the book sucked, it made him look entirely stupid and he retracted his statements on his show stating he never said the book was good. i bought the book because of his praise and wonderful comments then he came back on the show saying he never said the book was good. he is not an honest film pundit he constantly contradicts himself on his show because I watch it every Thursday. John Campea brought Harloff to Movie Talk and they are good friends but for me they're like night and day.

I like Harloff more than Campea, but both seems like pretty good guys. I met Campea at Celebration and the Jedi Council stuff they did at the show was a person highlight for me. Harloff really likes to get into the books/comics/canon stuff and he seems let down that stuff isn't counting more in the films. I understand his points, but films are the priority and Lucasfilm has to be careful to keep the path clear for the films.

I learned my lesson with Marvel's TV shows. The TV crew with Shield tried to tie into the movies, but it was clear the movie team didn't care about the TV show. It's a failed experiment. I think Lucasfilm has done a better job so far putting things together, but it's not easy. I'd cut Harloff some slack. He's a huge Star Wars fan and if he's let down that's a natural reaction for some fans.

They're both huge fans, i watch both their shows, great time to be a Star Wars fan, been there since the beginning of Movie Talk and Man of Steel days, but honestly i learn allot when watching Campea, and always seem slightly annoyed when watching Harloff for some reason, I guess thats my point. They seem like great guys to hang out with though. Watching films with commentary with them on the couch is close to the real thing;)

I seriously dislike Harloff. He's a populist, always has something to complain. Seriously, he's everything I dislike about Star Wars fans. He actually wants star wars to be like Marvel......

I don't really have an opinion on Harloff & Campea other than them not being as clued up on Star Wars as they make out.

Now..anyone know of a way to get a digital version of TLJ in the UK...TODAY?!

    I don't know.

You were thinking about New Dawn here, right? Lately, Harloff really started to disappoint me, it really like he waits to hear what the fans think to form the opinion. While personally I find Campea often abrasive and I'm not sure I like him at all, I can count on the fact that he'll tell you what he thinks whether you like it or not.

If I need deep, honest dive in Star Wars, I go with ForceCenter crew.

That's definitely Tom Hardy. He sounds and acts like him. Furthermore MSW once said Tom Hardy would play a Stromtrooper in an elevator.

Has Harloff really been that bad lately? I have to admit I never had a problem with him but I stopped watching Jedi Council after TLJ's release (for no particular reason, just didn't wanna watch) but I remember at that point he loved it. He said the second viewing really helped him and I believe he had the film as his third favorite in the saga. He's jumped on the hate train since then though?

    Ok, SLIGHTLY off topic here;

    1. How many times did you see it in theaters,

    2. Now that you've seen it "in your own environment", has your opinion changed/shifted, and...

    3. In what way???

I only saw it once in theaters, whereas I saw TFA three times. I "liked" TLJ, but not enough that I couldn't wait for the BR and not to have to spend money on another ticket. Just wondering how/if your view changed, because I plan on watching and re-watching it in order to perhaps bring me around.

    Just looking for some insight...

    1. I saw it four times in theater.

    2. I saw it 1.5 times since yesterday. :D

Once a complete movie and then I skip-watched with Rian's commentary the scenes that interested me the most. I'll watch it again in peace over the weekend together with all the bonuses.

    3. I am sad to report my opinion hasn't changed at all.

    I still love it. :p

If anything, having ability to go back and re-watch certain scenes and sit with them for a while just confirmed it for me. Since I saw it in the theater I knew that Mark, Adam and Daisy did a great job, but re-watching it made me appreciate other actors more, and not just in major roles. But, basically... nothing changed.

Except that movie is now MINE!

    1) I saw it twice in the cinema

    2) I'm still waiting for it because Disney in its infinite wisdom decided not to release it over here until the 9th April (epic fail)

    3) Honestly I'm not sure but I definitely need to rewatch it as Twice wasn't nearly enough.

    I saw it 3 times.

I'm more positive about the film now that I've seen is 3-4 times this week.

I found the Luke/Rey stuff overwhelming. Luke is my favorite character and I wanted to learn about him so much I think the rest of the film suffered. This isn't the film's fault. It's the burden of my expectations. Now that I can better appreciate the entire film. This film is long, but there's not a great deal of waste. This is going to be one of those Star Wars film that will grow over time.

This, THIS is why a LOT of people are angry..."the burden of their expectations", which I sadly admit that I AM A VICTIM OF as well. My expectation was that Luke's character would have had more exposure...that we'd see a re-emergence of the Wisened Jedi Master that guided Rey...I was let down by my own wants.

Now that I've largely gotten beyond this, I'm hoping that I can (like you) focus on the rest of the film with my eyes open wider and appreciate the rest.

I'm very curious how well TFA and TLJ mesh together. If you were to watch them back to back.

I find that they mesh well when watched back-to-back.
