Its not everyone tossing fruit around at the force party. Its that anyone who dedicates themselves to learning the ways of the force can, but not everyone does.

I believe after the trailer came out, there was a comment about this.
Luke is obviously standing there, but that doesn't mean he's actively training her at that moment. So yes, there will be some reluctance.
Unfortunately can't find the link right now.

Also, the heavy lightsaber blows made we think of RotJ Luke, who never got proper lightsaber training and basically just swings his glowing unit (hehe) throughout the movie any which way he can. The Tag and Bink comic made some funny remarks about this too. Again, no link atm.

Not sure why people claim Johnson to be a good filmmaker?! He has not proofed himself yet, he is solid and knows his craft well enough to be hired by studios but has not produced anything good yet, just OK just like Abrams never went further than OK. I am sure Johnson will do a better job in certain aspects compared to Abrams, but don't tell me he calls the shot what the content of this movie will be. Disney is a total control mega giant in the industry and there are way too many interests involved. There is a good chance they will mirror a lot from Empire just enough to please the mouth breathing part of the audience which is the one making the most money for Disney... def. not us.

I mean, I'd give well-liked examples like "Looper" and "some of the most adored episodes of Breaking Bad", but something as subjective as "quality" is pretty easy to argue against. I guess all I can do is suggest those things I've mentioned (and more, as I haven't personally seen much of filmography) and make that decision yourself, if you haven't already.

And his other two films, particularly "Brick." In my opinion "The Brothers Bloom" is a lovely quirky comedy but it's definitely not for everybody.

One advice: Before you criticise artists like Johnson, learn how to properly construct a simple english sentence...
