I think the planet has 9 moons too. The one we saw was called the "forest moon". Perhaps it's called that because there are other inhabitable moons with distinct environments...maybe there's also an "ocean moon" of endor where it crashed?

 

Like Caesar/Kaiser/Tsar... That's a fitting use of the name, I think.


...also, they close the Skywalker Saga with a new beginning. I'm calling it, we'll quite likely see Rey (at the very least) again sometime down the line, in a decade or two

 

That would make sense since apparently our good friend The Emperor is back in some way. That kinda was his last known whereabouts....

In the RoTJ I certainly see water, but I don't see what I would call an ocean. But I'm hard pressed to imagine that debris from the Death Star could end up anywhere else (assuming it's the 2nd Death Star)

 

It could be that it is still Rey nobody and the Rise of Skywalker refers to Ben's redemption.... But it still feels like Rey to me. Han and Leia had the instant connection with Rey, maybe they hid her from Luke and Lor San Tekka was watching over her from afar.

 

It almost looks like Starkiller base as well, but with that laugh tho...

I bet Palps is a force ghost. In the same way that Luke and Yoda are never really gone, Palps isn't either. I just hope his grand scheme is fully explained in the film. Getting bits and pieces from novels and video games doesn't cut it.

 

So are we going to talk about Kylo choke slamming the guy in the forest? And there is clearly a ST with him advancing so maybe the idea that Kylo is dethroned as Supreme Leader becomes less likely on the Speculation market?

 

Oh, it is quite possible! Personally, however, I think it is Yavin 4 (i.e. Death Star 1), if only because:
a) We know (from photos) there are people and weird horses on those grassy steps (which would lead me to think there's no carnivorous Ewoks around)
b) JJ loves ANH and you can hardly make a full-er circle, Star Wars-wise, than having our heroes/the plot move back to Yavin 4
c) We know the produciton rented the "Messassi temple"-hangar in England for the production. Now, that doesn't mean it absolutely HAVE TO be the Yavin temple set, although the hangar has served as such twice in Star Wars now.

I'm guessing Palp is going to be a hologram, and that the 3rd act of this trilogy will center on dealing with the contingency plan he put into motion. I think it's canon that one of his Admirals was following Palpastine's plans after his demise which called for a withdraw into the Unknown Regions right?
