    There's been a lot of speculation about him being Thrawn-esque, especially given the throwaway comment at the end of Aftermath, but what if he's playing someone else from the Thrawn Trilogy? Someone who could fill Han's scruffy-looking nerf-herding shoes? Ladies and gents I propose Benicio Del Toro's character will be based on none other than.... Talon Karrde :)

    So there's a character that's been showing up in some of the new Canon novels (a cameo in Lost Stars IIRC, a small but important role in Aftermath, and a large, extended role in Life Debt) that just got named that might be perfect for Benicio Del Toro...

    True. That character we are talking about was about 10 years old 30 years before "Life Debt" happens... he would be around 70 by the time Episode VIII happens.
