    I think every attempt at humor pretty much worked....with the exception of C3PO. His line "princesses" just fell flat. Same with his slap of R2. None of that worked for me.

    Great choices everyone! This movie is fantastic and a great homage to the OT.

    Wondering why nobody has mentioned the "mirrored Empire Strikes Back" scene, where the lightsaber is stuck in the snow.

    So this is my favourite little moment: When Kylo is about to grab Anakin's lightsaber from the snow, using the force and you can see the saber is burried just like in ESB and it's shaking around until Rey grabs it.

    R2 beeps at 3PO and 3PO says "how dare you call me that?" and slaps him. It's almost as if R2 said "wow, you got fat".

    I LOVED the moment seeing the saber fly by Kylos face and to Rey's hand. Then the force theme plays....chills. The Jedi have returned! The look of disbelief and fear on Ren's face. He woke up his worst nightmare.
    I didn't put it on my list because to me it was a HUGE moment along with Han's death.

    I just posted this in the Rey discussion thread. Not sure why this sticks out to me, but I always look forward to Rey's smile and wrinkling her nose when Han walks away after he offers her a job on the Falcon.

    Great moment! I agree 100%, her reaction is so genuine.

    Honestly, I could watch an entire movie of Han, Chewie, Rey, and Finn flying around the Galaxy on the Falcon smuggling and getting into trouble.

    George Lucas did a great job in the prequels of making me cringe at the sight of C-3PO. Attack of the Clones completely ruined the character for me.

    Yes.
    They continue with the running gag of Threepio getting dismembered, etc.
    At least this time, the red arm is a subtle cue. And happens more mysteriously before the film starts.
    And, he gets his gold arm back at the end. And it took me 3 viewings to spot that.

    glad it wasn't something silly like his head on a battle droid. :confused:

    Never noticed the teeth on lip part. It was a good moment when you hear Finn say "Poe, Poe Dameron you're alive!"

    Another moment I just thought of was on Starkiller when they are looking for Han and company you can hear the troopers say "we think they may be splitting up".

    Here are a couple more:

    - The moment Rey is drawn to the lightsaber is right after she is"abandoned" for the second time in her life. This time, by her new friend Finn. As she hears her own voice crying out downstairs, the past is being echoed in the present...
    This adds a new layer to this scene. And i didn't pick up on it until i read a post by @jedimasterjohnny.

    - when Rey tells finn goodbye at the end of the movie, now she is the one making the promise to reunite. Showing that she has moved on. And we all know that this is a promise thst won't be broken.
