So very Star Wars indeed! I loved that little thing. A random inhabitant of Jakku.

Loved seeing Stormtroopers take direct laser blasts from X-Wings and flying backwards. I don't think we've ever seen a ships canon hit a person in the OT. Just from AT-AT and AT-ST's.

Another thing I picked up on today when Leia and Han reunite. She gives this look the first time she sees him. She nods her head as if to indicate "how do you get yourself into these things?"

I think hearing the Stormtroopers making small talk while Rey is sneaking around the base was a nice callback to when you hear them doing the same thing when Obi-Wan is doing the same thing in ANH.
And I think it was a cool cinematic touch to show the boots of the captain dragging along the floor while Kylo was reeling him in to choke him. Not a detail many filmmakers would think would be worth sharing with the audience, but I think it adds a bit of grit! :D

I thought Leia's cell # was 1138.....or was that the cell block where Chewie was being "transferred" to?? Gonna have to watch it now! :)

Yep that's it. But Hidalgo confimed there is a reference to 1138 in TFA, just nobody has found it yet.

    http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Cell_2187

Cell 2187 was Princess Leia Organa's cell on the original Death Star. Found in Detention Block AA-23.

    http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Cell_Block_1138
When Shann Childsen, the officer in charge of the detention block inquired as to where they were taking Chewbacca, Skywalker answered that he and Solo had been ordered to transfer the Wookiee from Cell Block 1138 to Detention Block AA-23.

When Rey is riding back home during dusk and you see scavengers wondering the desert. When the first tie fighter is shot down by the Falcon and all the scavengers scurry to it.

Also, the first shot in the movie. Why are the ships headed away from the planet? Is that not Jakku?

What I absolutely loved is how the movie said to its audience "I'm glad you're back" and "Bye, hope to see you soon" just by means of the first and final lines of The Force Awakens:

    Begin
Tekka: "This will begin to make things right"

    End
Rey: "We'll see each other again. I believe that. Thank you, my friend."
Leia: "May the Force be with you"

    I love it.

Watch the expression on her face when she says "You!" It's almost excitement with a twist of evil. Love Ridley's expressions in this entire film. :)

They mixed in a little almost 'lion-like' roar when she breaths and overcomes Kylo Ren. I does look like she is taking pleasure from it. I really want to see her go darkside. lol

I've got two I don't think anyone mentioned yet.
    1) Phasma walking down the corridor and getting tackled by Chewie. (Great football hit)
    2) Finn calling Han, Solo and Han saying what did you call me.
    3) Anytime a storm trooper got hit by Chewie's Bowcaster

Then in the next scene (on Takodana) Finn calls him Solo anyway!

I loved the look Adam Driver gave when Hux walked in on him without his mask while talking to Snoke. It's like someone busted in on him while he was on the toilet. I thought that told us something about Kylo Ren and why he wears the mask.

In a few later shots of Starkiller Base, there are what look like giant spider things roaming the snowy surface of the planet. I only noticed them after my third viewing so didn't get a good look, but they're there.

Reminded me of the B'omarr Monk spider-bot at the beginning of ROTJ. Makes me wonder what else I and others have still missed, even after repeat viewings...

How could I leave out Finn asking Rey " You got a boyfriend, cute boyfriend." That line is driving me crazy because I'm pretty sure I heard it in another movie. I'm thinking it's something Shia said in the first Transformer movie.
