RUMOR What idea's taken from EU, that was put into TFA?

Now before most of you flame me about this, I asked Viral if he could make this thread for me or if there was one similar to bump it for me so I could post. And he said I could make it my self, so here I am, also I haven't post or made a thread in a few days. Ok on to my thread!

Now JJ and George spoke for many days and possible nights over the topic of episode 7, I guess the stories of the characters, using practical effect vs cgi, and putting idea's of EU or not into TFA. We know George took ideas from the EU and put some into the PT movies, so now that Disney has made the EU legends and have been making their own EU, doesn't mean Disney can take idea from the EU legends and use to make stories as inspirations.

I know they won't use a giant chunk but a few ideas, so what ones? The ones I think make sense the following...

Note I have posted about the first one below in another thread.

1.Jaina and Jacen solo twins. But they most likely won't be twins in the movie, but still siblings.

REY = First possible evidence I believe Daisy Ridley is the daughter of Han and Leia, is where she was sitting in cast photo, now I know people laugh at this and say oh so and so is related to this person because they where sitting there. Second possible evidence is her name, we only know her first name REY, why hide her last name? Third possible evidence goes back to the cast photo and to the most recent of Daisy and Carrie talking close, both in the photo and on stage at star wars celebration. Fourth possible evidence is how much Daisy Ridley resembles both Natalie Portman and Carrie Fisher.

REN = Becomes the new Darth Vader by turning to the dark side, which Jacen does in the EU. First possible evidence that Adam Driver is the casting of how much close he resembles Harrison ford.

A. Bloodline (This picture was from another thread but it makes sense to me, as Luke would go in exile after failed training padawan's loosing one to the dark side, fearing his own powers. Also Luke would have no time for love, even if he spelt 15 or so years in the tomb guarding it. Which means no kid!)



B. The Ladies Padme, Leia and Rey, you can't tell me they don't resemble each other?

2.Finn Galfridian

Finn = First possible evidence, Finn from the EU is Caucasian with blonde hair. But it was down to just John and two other actors both are Caucasian with blondish hair, similar to Finn of the EU. Second possible evidence John's father casted for a cameo, now EU Finn's father dies is it possible that when the First Order attacks the village his father is there and he is forced to attack. Hence the scene we see of blood on Finn's storm trooper gear, and when he takes of the helmet he's in rage. Third evidence is that Finn TFA gets the lightsaber, and in the EU Finn he is trained by Luke Skywalker.

B. This is a picture of EU Finn holding his dying father.

3. Admiral Thrawn! A great possibility to introduce a new character similar to Thrawn, seeing we know there is a new super Star Destroyer type class of ship, but who is commanding it? I am going to list some possibilities from characters we know from TFA's so far that could fit the role.

A. The Vicar = A character that is rumored to tie in from both PT and OT, a former Star Destroyer Colonel who now is on the planet of Jakku after the crashing from the battle of Jakku and is now a junk dealer whom has Luke's old lightsaber collected from a character named Naku? Who Vicar then gives the lightsbaser to Rey who then dislikes it because of the past, but takes it. Later Rey, Finn, Han and Chewie then take it to Rose whom they then have a group flashback.

But then this doesn't fit with the concept picture? A Colonel wearing robes? However it does fit with the Kanan rumor.


B. Gleeson's character the so called General! Rumors of him being a double agent doesn't seem to fit him as the role General?

C. Andy Serkis non-mo-cap character the so called pirate leader, a Hundo type (If anyone has watched clone wars cartoon, then ya know who I mean), the Montross Weequay? But then what would a pirate be doing commanding a First Order Star Destroyer? If a smuggler pirate Han Solo can command rebel fleet ships then why not another pirate? Now I know this isn't at all taken from EU, just my thoughts on who could be an Admiral Thrawn type.

These three make most sense to me that they'd pick and choose from and redesign the characters to make it their own.
