• Rey wearing a Princess Yuki-inspired costume and having a new, double-bladed lightsaber.

• Luke's Force Ghost tormenting Ben.
• Some kind of memorial service for Leia.

An organist playing an old Wurlitzer organ suddenly slowly rises up through the cinema/theater floor as the film starts, with a happy grin on his face as he looks back over his shoulder and waves cheekily at the mystified, confused and surprised audience....

 

Some people want more lore. Some people want Lando...

Here's what I want... I'd like there to be some reason Rey saw the Knight of Ren in the rain. Disney marketed the heck out of it. It's a 2 second shot in the film. JJ has a chance to use that clip in the final film. I think he will. That was part of the forceback he threw together towards the end of the film. At that point JJ knew RJ's story, so perhaps that scene was a setup for the last film. If it wasn't, I have no idea what JJ was thinking putting in TFA.

I kind of hope that JJ doesn't add much to the cast. We have too many characters already and this film really needs to focus on Rey and Kylo. Those two are the heart of this trilogy with Finn/Poe supporting. Why are these two linked? What is their destiny? How will it play out?

 

Not going to throw a fit if I do not get this but I would love an opening battle that consisted of an X Wing squadron attack mission being lead by Poe and most importantly I want Rey to be flying with them in her own X wing. Would be a cool way to see her come full circle from Force Awakens playing pretend with her scavenged helmet.

 

I personally want a full scale war between the First Order and whatever the Resistance is going to become. If it's the end of the original saga, then it should end with a blast! But without any planet-shaped superweapons, we all had enough of those.
