Counting Yavin 4 as given, what other planets do you think will make their appearance in Rogue 1, or which would you like to see?

Really of this list the only one I really want to see is Alderaan, given that we've seen it for a total of about 20 seconds in RotS and ANH. I would expect to see it given Bail Organa's part in the early stages of the Rebellion, but I really haven't heard anything about the character or Jimmy Smits being confirmed for the movie. Still, that's the one I want to see!

Onderon as the beach environment planet, Saw Gerrera fought for Onderon in the Clone Wars against the Confedercy and now fights for Onderon against the Imperials.

The volcanic scenery that was shot in Iceland (where they have this amazing national football/soccer team), might be used for Sullust then.

I think Coruscant is a real possibility, considering that it is the Imperial homeland, and the central galactic base for the Empire. Probably a brief cameo.

Hm, which might be the sandy planet with the “tattooinish” look from the teaser, where the street scenes take place?

I found it annoying (among many things) in the Force Awakens that they failed to really flesh out many of the planets or even give us a name to most of them. I like practical effects and all, but you could tell they wanted to avoid the old man rants about the Prequels so much that they made every destination very..'Setty'? Maybe I watched too much coverage of when they were on set before the movie, but Jakku and pretty much all the other planets felt like they put up a couple tents, an entrance to a castle or fortress and done. It was almost more desolate than an old Star Wars video game like KOTOR(don't get me wrong, I love KOTOR) but this was a Star Wars film where I felt they had a responsibility to really flesh out the world we like to feel a part of. They failed and I hope they don't in Rogue One or I'll be upset as a fan of Lucas's work which INCLUDES the prequels. Just because the Prequels weren't executed perfectly there is still George's vision and lot's of beautiful SW things to look at that made you feel a part of it.

Yavin IV for sure but I doubt Tat will be in it, unless its the last part of the movie.

Idk which planets will be in R1 other than Yavin IV but I too would like to see more of Alderaan. Coruscant will most likely be in it, in terms of a holo (background) between Vader and the Emperor. I think it's a possibility that Dantooine will get a little screen time also.

I say that also because John Knoll had a big hand in creating Coruscant visually and he wrote the initial story for R1 .

Yeah but Coruscant was a cheap version of Nar Shaddaa. I doubt we will see many core worlds, more like the backwater planets.

Maybe they should use each movie to introduce more planets and leave the revisiting stuff to other media.
    My vote goes to "other".

How was it a cheap version?

Pretty civilized for a underworld, the only death thread there comes from Death Sticks. Those type of environments lean on Blade Runner visually, should have been much darker, dirtier and grittier. Nar Shaddaa had that all and it works for a story, while Coruscant underworld looks maybe nice but doesn't work as an dangerous underworld setting. The original Mcquarrie artwork for Coruscant was very different and never tried to hard to get that underworld vibe.

little off topic here but still, you can get a nice visual of these planets from the Star Wars the old republic game F2P. But every time I install the game i do regret it... years spent playing it and felt i got screwed over when it went F2P

You do realise the closer you get to the Coruscant surface, the more dangerous the planet becomes. The lowest levels definitely are much darker and grittier. Ahsoka travels to the Coruscant underworld in The Clone Wars TV show.
No, there's plenty of threats in the underworld and lowest levels of Coruscant. Career criminals, bounty hunters, assassin droids, wild animals ranging from small to very large etc.
