    apparently it was so great a source of power that the war was ended after only 2 were destroyed. sure there was probably some cleaning up to do after they were destroyed...maybe some local uprisings who support the empire efforts, but they do show in the final moments before the credits people rejoicing around the galaxy. The war was over, after so many years.

    the US Navy has only 10 carriers. all nuclear powered too. we consider them so capable that we can do more with fewer. reason being is that any one of them can be deployed within days or hours of an event. complete with strike group and 90 fixed wing aircraft, extending range even further and faster. If we lost just 1-3 it would be a huge setback...

    I guess the destruction of the second death star was to be the death nail of the empire, it clearly was not so, the us navy has only 10 carriers I did not know that,their strengths would need to be found elsewhere, the imperial army I think had strength in it's star destroyers.

    power comes from how you use your resources, all the greatest military leaders and face of power were destroyed. maybe TFA will talk a little about how they put everything back together.

    Well I don't think Sidious knew much about in military skills his clone commanders probably had leadership programmed into them,I hope TFA reveals some great encounters.

    well the dude that does rebels recap said that due to the rapid aging process most of the clones had died by the time a new hope started. these were civilians sympathetic to the empire or desperate for work. in one draft of "Star Wars" (before it was a new hope) Luke was considering joining the rebelian or the empire. Sidious made very precise calculated movements, in most cases shown in the movies, he would only act when he knew what would happen.

    The clones jobs were done, I did not know the stormtrooper etc were going forward from anti-alliance followers I guess they had to pick a side,if they only knew the future in TROTJ they might have switched again, this dude is he a follower of the Cantina?
