Who do you think Snoke is talking about in the trailer

the newest trailer kicks off with Snoke saying, "When I found you, I saw raw, untamed power."

"When I found you,"... hmm...

from a scene in TFA we know that Leia suspected Snoke of luring Ben to the dark side from an early point in Ben's life. with that in mind, does it make sense that Snoke "found" Ben?

could this line be directed at Rey instead of Kylo Ren, as many assume?

 

'..and beyond that something truly special.. Fulfil your destiny!'

Snoke is talking to himself in the mirror.. doing his affirmations.. and completing his self development / improvement course/mantras..

 

one argument for Snoke speaking to Kylo Ren would be that Snoke mentions there having been an awakening in the Force in TFA: surely if he knew about Rey he would have assumed it was her.

this can be explained by saying maybe Snoke wasn't sure who was causing the disturbance; it could have been Luke for all he knew.

i think if Snoke is speaking to Rey, it may help explain why it was hinted that Kylo Ren knew about a "girl" in TFA without ever having met her personally.

In this ST, i don't know who 2 believe in anymore both production & story. Or who 2 trust. That's y i liked R1 so much more then TFA.

Andy Serkis claimed repeatedly that he has no idea who it's referring to.

They might've just dragged him in to record for the trailer if he's not lying.

This is exactly what I think and what I'm hoping for.

 

Assuming it is not just for the trailer, Snoke is talking to Kylo. IT has been inferred that Snoke has been influencing Ben for awhile. It also seems like Luke started training Ben at an older age so Ben could have had very raw power when Snoke first met him

 

There is a (remote) possibility that Snoke was speaking to Leia. She was force-sensitive but untrained (and remain untrained). So when Snoke "found" her, i.e., encountered Leia for the first time, she had raw untamed power. As for the "special" thing, it could be referring to her child Ben (or her children if Rey was a Solo as well).

However, IMO it's more likely that Snoke's words have been recorded just for the trailer and wouldn't even appear in the movie.

 

Maybe Snoke created both Anakin and later on Rey through the Force, so Reys destiny would be whatever he has planned for her because she is his creation.
If this theory is true, then Kylo and Rey are related. This could create a strong bond between them If they would learn this.
Her destiny is probably just to have her powers harvested or maybe Snoke will use her body as his vessel, then we would have an evil Rey!

 

Snoke manipulated Ben from afar...Ben turned bad and destroyed Luke's Jedi...Ben runs away and is FOUND by Snoke...Snoke provides Ben with answers (destiny/dark side) and takes him as his apprentice:

"When I found you..."

 

My first thought was Kylo, however the more i think about it, the more intrigued I get of the thought about Snoke speaking to Rey instead of Kylo Ren. December can't come soon enough!
