    “Always two there are.” That was the way of the Sith. Snoke and Kylo were not Sith but there were two of them. The latter wanted to continue that trend with Rey as his apprentice but it looks like the Falcon's boarding ramp closed shut on that possibility. So what now? Does one of the Knights of Ren fulfill the traditional role of an apprentice? Someone else? Or does Kylo break tradition and go solo as the Supreme Leader and lead the Knights as Ren medieval style as a king leads his knights?

    It would be cool if he had/would get an apprentice but i don't see how they could make that happen. I suppose they could reveal that he already had a secret apprentice, perhaps one of the kinghts of ren. It could make sense seeing how he deceived Snoke into thinking he was going to kill Rey but then again, it would feel out of place without any mentions of an apprentice or even a force sensitive before. I'm disregarding the broomboy and Luke's apprentices since they were killed by kylo ren (correct me if i'm wrong).
    Another thing that speaks against it is that it seemed Kylo wanted Rey as his apprentice. If he already had an apprentice, why bother with Rey? I know they say the more the merrier but in this case, i don't think so.

    He already has the KOR as his "apprentices". I think that's enough. I hope Kylo doesn't care about anyone but himself. He doesn't care about his Knights, about Hux, about the FOR etc. He just wants to find Rey. So no time for an apprentice.

    Last part of a trilogy is a bit too late to add any new significant elements like that. We'll probably see the Knights of Ren, but that's about it. Besides, Kylo Ren is probably too unstable to have any apprentices. Unlike, say, Palpatine, who was always calculating and planning decades ahead.

    I don't think he'll actually have an apprentice either, but Anakin had an apprentice in the Clone Wars, just sayin'. Anakin wasn't the most stable person either. I don't see how it would that difficult, because we know there are other Knights of Ren that are still alive. So, it's not like it's a drastic leap of logic.

    Kylo Ren would be the worst master to an apprentice ever. He's extremely powerful and dangerous undoubtedly, but he is too erratic and impulsive to truly teach an apprentice. I think Kylo is going to be totally unhinged in EPISODE 9 now that he has all the power in the First Order.

    Snoke had not only one apprentice, why should Kylo stick to rules of a sect he doesn't belong to.

    Good point. There's been no mention of Snoke having any personal Apprentices before KYLO but it hasn't really been brought up yet. Kinda like how we don't know much of the Knights of Ren lol.

    Snoke's super old so there's a good chance he could have had a student before kylo. But good chance he hasn't had one either

    somewhere in all of our joking, it was mentioned he would be a terrible father, but quite possibly the opposite. same with being a teacher.
    it would be interesting if Ren surprised us on this front: if he was a calm and patient master.
    he might want to be everything he felt like he never had in his own life.

    Whether Kylo could have an apprentice depends on the time jump. If there is enough time between movies it is possible that he has one. Whether he has one or not remains to be seen but I do think it is possible

    I feel like we're going to see a decent time jump of at least 2-3 years. Plenty of time for stories to be told and things to happen. Including Kylo having an apprentice like Ahsoka who doesn't even make it to Ep. IX.

    Here is some not-so-serious speculation... Kylo is on the rebound after Rey rejected him. Maybe a member of the Knights of Ren is a woman who serves as his Replacement Rey and she becomes his apprentice. Except, just as it is with all rebound relationships, she doesn't quite fill the void that Rey leaves behind. Kylo makes her wear desert rags, carry a stick, and even tries to "Force-Time" with her but it just doesn't work. Frustrated Kylo kills Replacement Rey shortly before Ep. IX and then goes into the last installment intent on winning back his lost love/apprentice, Rey. But now she is the master and he becomes her apprentice!
