    Yo what's up so @Viral Hide posted to the Star Wars 7 site that there was official SW art. Post on the site http://www.starwars7news.com/2015/0...ley-art-from-star-wars-the-force-awakens.html

    Note:mods I made this official news, not sure if u should or should not have I wasn't sure so change it if you like.

    By the looks of it there are now blue and green x wings. There are also red. Dc barns posted a pic to his twitter(he was the force for change winner)

    so there are green blue and red x wings? Are they different squadrons like rouge squadron is red. So maybe there is a blue and green squadron now, or maybe it's for rank? What do you guys think?

    I think the different colors would be for separate squadrons.

    Although those first two pictures have really peaked my interest because neither one is exactly the same as the ones we see in the teaser and Force for Change. Sense they are just art, I don't think we should take them too seriously, but it has me wondering.

    They are new... very new... the only TFA that was previously released by him was a dambuster one... have not seen these before today, and neither has anyone else I know of...

    The artist is the officially licensed artist for Star Wars, recruited by Lucas himself... these are pieces meant for sale

    Check the small print at the bottom of the pictures, and research the artist... these are legit, and "production" pieces

    The first image looks to be the X-wings from the original trilogy. Look at the round engines on each of the wings. The second image is how Poe Dameron's X-wing looked in the trailer. Half-circle engines on each wing that make 2 full circles when the S-foils are closed.

    And isn't the third just a prop from the OT? At least the design and color scheme is the same.

    The OP was taking that to mean we would see red X-wings due to the last image. But it seems more "Hey look at this classic full-size prop" to me... unless they have both old model and new model X-wings in the movie, which would be kind of cool. Like a phase-in at some point.

    A wild idea comes to mind... Perhaps all the Alliance/Republic uses is the new X-wing, but Luke still has his old one parked somewhere?

    I suppose it could be, but I'm pretty bummed that they aren't from TFA. Although I like what they're doing with Star Wars at Marvel. Even though those x wings aren't from episode VII, I imagine we'll see some truly cool x wing designs in the coming months.

    Maybe they will be prototypes in the comics that we see the full awesome version that we see Poe Dameron flying in TFA.

    Yeah, I'm thinking the x wings we'll see in TFA are gonna be amazing! I especially hope that Poe Dameron's is black. I didn't fully realize how much I missed the x wings until I saw them again in the teaser trailer! Full on goosebumps!
