You'd be surprised to know Princess Leia never actually gets to 'meet' General Obi Wan Kenobi. She sees him from afar when she's escaping the Death Star as Obi-Wan is about to let Darth Vader kill him but that's it. Unless you count Obi-Wan being present for her birth in Revenge of the Sith...then she never met him.

She never knew him as "Ben" either, but sure was excited to hear Luke mention that name for some reason.

Leia never met Obi-wan or "Ben" Kenobi, yet names her son after him. Star Wars logic....

Even though Vader was apparently going to let them escape anyway . . . still a nice gesture though :)

You'd be surprised to know that R2-D2 was originally going to speak in english (Basic), but GL changed his mind during filming for ANH

(i hope i'm right about that.. i cannot find it documented anywhere now i'm looking for it)

Yeah, early drafts had dialogue for R2. The idea for it being 'beeps' and 'boops' came in a later draft well before filming though.

Which is a key ingredient in Blue Milk and that's how it relates to Star Wars :D

You’d be surprised to know that the numeric part of Finn’s Trooper designation, 2187, is the same as Leia’s Deathstar cell number in ANH (twenty-one eight seven).

Furthermore, if you add up those digits, you get 18. The sum of those numbers is 9. And NINE is the number of times I debated writing this sentence. Coincidence?

YBSTK: They do know what egg cups are. It's just that raw, gooey food is gross, especially when it comes out of a bird's behind. Think about THAT next time you eat raw eggs haha

A soft boiled egg is not raw. It's cooked by boiling it, the contents are hot and soft at the same time.

You leave the shell on, but slice the top off and eat the soft contents of the egg with a small teaspoon, or with narrow slices of toasted bread nicknamed "soldiers". The egg is stood in a stand called an eggcup to prevent it rolling around on a plate and spilling the contents.

YBSTK:The actor who played Obi-Wan Kenobi, Alec Guinness, thought of the Star Wars films as "fairy-tale rubbish".

Oh I know exactly what a soft boiled egg is and how it's served. But the soft content stays soft because it's RAW. Which means that the person consuming it risks contracting salmonella. Sure, the chances of that happening are very low in developed countries, but still.
Also, YBSTK that the small lumps occasionally found in eggs are caused by small "accidents" during the development of the eggs and can be anything from tiny blood clots to pieces of the chicken's oviduct. That's right, actual pieces of the chicken. How do you feel about raw eggs now?

British and European eggs are safe:

UK farmers vaccinate all hens against salmonella, meaning eggs layed by vaccinated British hens cannot contain salmonella. American hens are not vaccinated as it is "too expensive".

UK eggs retain their natural outer anti-bacterial protective layers on eggs because they are not washed off after being layed. Nobody minds finding an occasional stray feather or a blemish. American eggs are washed which strips off the outer anti-bacterial protective layer which makes they far more vulnerable to being infected by salmonella and other diseases. American eggs are also bleached white and sprayed with unnatural chemicals to help preserve them. As eggs shells are also porous, the chemicals will be absorbed into the contents of the egg.

UK eggs stay fresher for much longer. British eggs are not sold in the chilled "dairy" sections of UK supermarkets because they retain their natural protective layer, instead they're sold and stored at room temperature. There is simply no need for chilling eggs here. American eggs must always be refridgerated because their natural protective layers are missing and they go bad much easier and quicker than UK eggs.

All UK eggs are individually checked with scanning equipment and if ok, are marked with a compulsary and unique British Lion quality and ID mark:

Mmmmh, do you really know the amount of chemical products that can be found in a single salad, or industrial vegetable?

Fatche, les oeufs à la coque c'est super bon avec des mouillettes!
Ooops sorry my french nature came back, just evocating "les oeufs à la coque" which is the french naming for "soft boiled eggs". La "mouillette" is these "narrow slices of toasted bread nicknamed soldiers" as said @SKB.

I already knew all of this (and you're wrong when you say "European eggs are safe", because not all European countries follow UK standards). And that doesn't mean that UK eggs are 100% safe either, errors CAN occur, and most likely do occasionally. Also, we're talking about the habit of eating raw eggs in general. Not everyone on the planet lives in UK, and British people do travel, right? And I don't think you're packing eggs. Bottom line is the habit is dangerous, AND gross if you come across random lumps in the soft content. At least it is to most people.

How is that relevant when we're talking about eggs? Are you implying that the flaw of a product erases the flaws of others? That the risk of contracting one specific type of infection doesn't matter because vegetables are not 100% natural? Can I erase both issues by saying that there's too much added sugar in fruit yogurt?

Are you saying that your "French nature" goes away occasionally and comes back when you're thinking about soft boiled eggs? If I were French I'd be pretty offended right now.
