    TROS is by no means a great movie, but I kind of loved the experience of "holy **** they're really doing this, huh" in the theatre. There is probably a great 4 hour cut of it out there somewhere that improves the pacing. Also, almost all its faults are direct consequences of the mess that TLJ made, so I'm definitely going to give it a bit of a pass for its messy story. The biggest weakness is the forgettable "Final Battle™" that could have been from any random blockbuster of the last 20 years.

    For me TFA tried too hard to be ANH-ish. That is not entirely wrong.

    In my humble opinion TLJ is the best made film of the sequels. I do wish TROS would have continued some of those thoughts. But it is a nice film.
