    I find it very interesting that someone would rate this as "old news". I was using this as an example of how these descriptions can't be taken as proof of anything (I agree with MagnarTheGreat on this point). If you take the description of Rey seriously then you have to give equal weight to Finn's, especially if they come from the same website.

    I alluded to this earlier in an Episode 8 discussion, mostly jokingly, but I do not appear to be alone on this: Consider what question sold JJ Abrams on making a new Star Wars: Who is Luke Skywalker? Then consider the thought that Rey is not Han and Leia's child for a moment. Consider the dialogue of Luke in the second trailer, and consider the footage of Rey speeding across the desert as The Force theme plays. Now consider for a moment the obvious parallels of Rey and Luke, and ask yourself what if: What if Rey is Luke's child, and what if Rey has some built up anger, some serious "Daddy issues?" Now what if the end of TFA leaves us with more questions than answers? If this is the case, Luke has his hands full in Episode 8...

    I'm holding out hope that Rey and...General Hux are Luke's kids. I want a scene where all hope seems lost, and Luke throws his saber at Hux, and you think he has given up, and Hux ignites it and stands back to back with with sister and father.

    Edit: and with Hux's red hair, the mom is ....Mara Jade

    I'm starting to like the concept of Rey being Luke's daughter more and more. She's on remote planet, Luke choose solitude life, so much dramatical potential. What if, Rey's mother was killed when she was little by enemies of Skywalker? What if Luke choose outcast life,'cause he think that he's a threat for the one he loves. What if he thinks that he protects Rey by being as far from her, as possible?
