    They were never written properly, and all the fun was missing, actually we threw even the only legit one in the trash. That was just a waste of time, not fun.

    I was actually working on a fake audio teaser that sounded like it was recorded by a cellphone in a viewing hall, where a younger but recognizable reincarnation of Palpatine is swaying a Skywalker descendant to his side, with success. It would have been very convincing... but then I lost interest in it.

    I also like rumors or in this case, ,,legit trailer" descriptions. It's actually funny how some people try so hard for their version of the trailer to be believeble. I recall how MSW.net contradicts itself in mere days. At least here ,on SW7News(btw I really love this site) everything is more toned down while MSW.net try to make sensations because that's all they can do.Trailer descriptions.The leaked figurines or products are barely explained.Some things like the two super weapons sound ridiculous to me.But that's THE MAGIC OF STAR WARS.
    Anyway,I'm going to be one of the people refreshing youtube on that day to see the trailer.

    I don't think they will have a trailer.
    Im still betting on footage of a scene or 2 OR behind the scenes footage.
    No trailer til Fall :D

    Guys, I will literally put down money that there will be a trailer.

    We're almost 5 months out. No way that they're not going to start rolling out promotions... and to do that they need more than a teaser.

    You're SO right. :) In terms of how long there is left till the movie opens it is the perfect time to release a full trailer.. We will get it at SDCC for sure. :)

    I like the way that the are not giving too much away, I hope that we get a third teaser and then a full trailer at D23 and then nothing else. Just to keep the aura of the movie intact. My biggest fear/pet peeve is when movies go all out and use footage from every single part of the film. That way when you get to the theater nothing suprised you and it sucks. Sorry to go off on a tangent but I have faith in LFL that the promo of this film will be done with the integrity of the movie in mind.

    Totally agree. I wouldn't be surprised if they try and keep a lid the mystery box as long as possible by doing another teaser at comic con and saving one full trailer for 2-3 months before the movie is released.

    Sorry but that is just not how big budget blockbusters are promoted. There will be 3 to 4 full trailers, 10 to 15 different tv spots, several BTS clips and many, many production photos put out before december. If you watch everything you probably know 60 or 70% of the plot, because is what it takes to get the average moviegoer to want to see a movie. There going to promote the hell out of this movie, just like avengers.

    They can still promote the hell out of the movie and show relatively little footage. I expect the next trailer to include some of the last big footage we'll see, everything after that will just be recuts of the same stuff; tv spots usually are just truncated trailers anyway. We might get an extra glimpse or two leading into December, but the big marketing push will be in the toys, comics, and novels;the so-called "Journey to the Force Awakens" will market the movie without spoiling the mystery of the plot. Star Wars is a different beast than Marvel; whereas a film like Age of Ultron is just a remix of popular characters in a popular story, TFA is a continuation of Star Wars that we've been waiting decades to see. They're not going to spoil the whole thing in the previews. Not to mention, this is a December release as opposed to a summer one; people will go out in droves to see a summer flick even if it's spoiled ahead of time, but getting them out to the theaters in December is another trick, even for a Star Wars movie.

    Star trek into darkness had 3 full trailers and everthing else i mentioned. everyone know most of what was going to happen in the movie, including the big "secret" about khan before it opened. Disney decides promotion not jj and they want their 4 billion back. I get real fans want surprises, but average moviegoers don't care
