SPECULATION Alternate "cyborg" theory

Well as far as I know, there are only seven cylo... ummm... cyborgs...

Couple reasons... number one, he was one of the best bounty hunters, and as I doubt he would be interested in nerf herding, he most likely would return to that vocation...

secondly, he is likely to be pissed...

Sometimes a cyborg is just a cyborg...

Honestly, we know that Max is gonna be a cyborg, and he is hanging out with Daisy... this character was around during the Clone Wars...
and he will have something to do with the plot-line...

we also know that a cyborg will have a great "I am your father" moment...

so... why are we assuming that it isn't Max that has this moment... I don't think he will be Vader (his body burned up) or Palpatine (god please JJ, just don't) and I really don't think it would be Luke...

He could be Boba Fett... Lord knows that if crawling out of a Sarlacc pit ain't enough to make you need prosthetics...

But... if Max were Palpatine... oh how the mighty have fallen...

Has anyone heard anything from the Rise/Kris guy about their supposed rumor? Or were they determined to be full of blast?

I think everyone is putting to much emphasis on this cyborg character. They probably hit it on the nail with him being a scavenger and friend to Ridley's character.

I remember reading something from Timothy Zahn that he had read George's original vision for episode 7-9. That was the film he wanted to see. Larger scale space battles, a master Luke taking on sith acolytes.

So if they took from George's original notes the villains would be Sith Acolytes dedicated to Palapatine's order. I like the theory that one of them is being guided by a force ghost of Palpatine, and will by the end of the movie resurrect the sith and rename themselves Darth Ruin.

I think the Ancient Fear would refer to the Weapon on Korriban. Luke may destroy the weapon at the cost of his own life. The new trio of hero's will have to confront Darth Ruin and his Acolytes without the jedi master.

Just more speculation, everyone has Adam Driver pegged as the villain. What if he is the leader of Rogue Squadron and will be leading the XWing spinoff movie. The son of General Antilles or another Darklighter. Or he could be a Solo.

I have John Boyega, Daisy Ridley and either Driver or Issacs as the third hero. Miltos Yereolemou will play an acolyte. I think Domhnall will play the character who becomes Darth Ruin. The leader of the acolytes will be either Miltos or Sydow. I think Ridley will be a Solo or Skywalker but kept in hiding on whatever planet she is on.

 

They haven't came back and said what their "big scoop" was yet, so many people think it was a load of crap.

 

The sith aren't exactly happy with Palpatine... he killed Plagueis, which wasn't exactly unheard of, but then he became very public, which wasn't necessarily something they were ready for... oh, the sith dislike Luke, no doubt, but... think of their presence more as "cleaning up"

Or... Luke jumps in, and everyone expects that he is just gonna do that Jedi thing where he freakin just does it, and like with Jabba, the next thing you know, they are on their way...

But he doesn't... he is the Obi-Wan Kenobi of the ST... he is the OldWizard (OW)

He confronts... and he sacrifices... as the Falcon pulls out of the hanger, only this time its crew is shocked... disbelief... "I can't believe he's gone"

And that is when the story begins to really take off

 

What if the Falcon's initial take-off thrusters are broken so Luke has to use the Force to lift the Falcon and launch it into space in the meantime, sacrificing himself?
Could be very moving.

 

How about he is about to die, ala Obi-Wan "if you strike me down I will become more powerful than you can imagine" and merge with the force... which the sith still don't get, just like Vader didn't get it when he struck down Kenobi

 

Merge the two ideas together.

 

Nah... never happen... the only way Luke would have to force lift the Falcon is if it had been damaged and was burning, like in fiery contrast to some snow capped mountain or something...

 

Like I said, the initial take-off thrusters were damaged so he had to use the Force to help them take off, leaving him behind to face the bad guy, then sacrifice himself like Obi-Wan with Kira or whoever looking back and shouting "Noooo!!"

Why wouldn't he levitate it with himself on board?

 

To give the others time to get away.... If he is on board, who is outside fighting the villian?

 

Not to derail the thread but I just have a question - who is Kira? Like it's supposed to mean Daisy Ridley's character right, but where did the name "Kira" come from?

 

It's Daisy Ridley's character's production name. Mark Hamill's is OW which many speculate to be "Obi-Wan" or "Old Wizard"

 

Not sure if it's officially official yet.

I refuse to read anything that has a picture as a background.
It isn't even formatted in a way that's pleasing to the eye.

That being said, they don't even know who the cyborg is. They were over here acting like they knew EXACTLY who it was.
And their theories are exactly like ones posted here but with added bad grammar and poor formatting.

They say they think it may be Darth Plagueis, Darth Vader, or Luke Skywalker.
