@master_shaitan @TheGreyandTheRed I think they might be talking about the implications from TFA that Kylo knows about Rey, to some extent or another (i.e. “What girl?!”)?

I wouldn't say we KNOW that though. We can assume that or assume there is some sort of connection. I don't think he knows HER but he definitely knows how strong she is.

Oh no, I agree wholeheartedly (as I said, it only implies that there is a possibility that Kylo might know of Rey); that’s just what I interpreted @jaqua524 ’s comment as being about, regardless of whether that statement is true or not.

I think in the novel, when she picks the lightsaber with the force, Kylo thinks or says to himself : "so it IS you ! ..." which implies that he does know her

I think this refer to the Awakening in the Force that Snoke tells him about rather then he know who she is specifically.
Also there is a theory out there that Ren may have had a similar Force Vision to Rey & seen a girl in it the same way Rey saw him in her vision.

Pablo confirmed this was about him recognising that she was the awakening.

They even have the bridge from the compass for a force vision on Acht To

When Rey will touch it, she will see Del and Luke's meeting on Pillio and that this meeting was a will of the Force.

It could also be the moment where Luke decides to train Rey.

What's the bet that Iden or Del were part of that massacre scene with the KoR?

I know that I wouldn’t make that bet. We know that Del died aboard the Corvus at the hands of Hask; for him to make it out of such a massacre alive would mean that it would have had to happen before these events, in the months/year leading up to TFA, and could greatly serve to undermine Kylo Ren, who at that particular point in TFA is very much still being depicted as a ruthless antagonist. Is it really that ruthless if someone survived and escaped?

I don't know but I was thinking that hiding the kid on Jakku only has a meaning for both of them.

It's a junkyard for the galaxy but the place of love for Iden and Del. They put the kid on a place only them could remember about love.

What happened after ? I suppose Iden had been killed by the FO and will never coming back.

Ok fair enough with Del. But really I'm making the point that if they are her parents that it's possible that Iden may have been caught up in the KoR massacre. Just a thought. I have nothing invested in the idea.

For sure. I wasn’t taking it as you being invested, just playing devil’s advocate for some fruitful discussion :) I agree that that would have been something interesting to play out (especially if Iden were trying to protect her daughter), but the question still remains as with every other potential candidate: why did they leave Rey on Jakku so long ago?

Thought she was dead in a FO attack, maybe?

Perhaps, especially if they were located in space bordering the Unknown Regions.

But then that would be ~10-15 years prior to TFA, and I think the First Order were still very much under wraps at that point in the timeline. I don’t think that they’d risk proverbially blowing their load in terms of revealing themselves and would much rather save the big introduction for when SKB destroys the seat of the New Republic?

Do you really believe that they'd let a game tell who her parents are? Were there any games besides merchandise that even gave away a few things for TFA? Yes a little, but games? No

    Actually, they didn't.

They just told a story of some characters that could be important later. There is no reveal at all in BF2, just the story of two people.

But if Rey is random, what does that change for the audience ? To see a vision with a dude you don't know or with a dude called Del Meeko ?
